Cool Cruiser

Cool Cruiser (2/15)

  1. Perhaps I've missed this someplace else but has anyone else experienced a change post booking their princess cruise? When we booked Casual Dining Restaurants were included. Then we received a notification that Casual Dining is now a perk of the Princess Plus (at two dinners for Plus) and Premier (unlimited). We already have the Plus package as we wanted internet and the drink package but we are quite miffed that something that was included and unlimited when we paid is now limited. Has anyone noticed this and as put out as us? How can they just change what our booking includes last min? It doesn't seem legal to me. For reference we are booked on a 23 day cruise and only 2 included casual dining restaurants seems pretty limited.
  2. You are right! As if anyone is doing that. I think someone needs to proof read that page 😆
  3. Thanks for your reply's! I had confirmation from Princess Cruises that they'd need whatever passport they are travelling on to have the proper entry requirements to be allowed to board the ship. So I have registered with their NZ passports and will be getting the ESTA for the US ports. As for entering NZ on a NZ passport- yes you need to enter on a Kiwi passport to be deemed in the country as a kiwi. Similar to the USA. If we were flying we'd use their Canadian passports to check in but use their NZ passports to enter New Zealand. Cheers!
  4. Hi All, Complicated Question- we are moving from Vancouver to Auckland and taking a Princess Cruise to relocated. I have a Canadian Passport with PR Visa. My Husband and Child have both Canadian and New Zealand Passports. Princess only allows one passport to be registered. We do have US ports of call on the cruise. I am wondering if anyone here will know of Princess Cruises will deny boarding if my family registers their Canadian passports without a NZeTA (as they don’t need one because they are citizens)? I was directed Princess’s Visa Center to ask and they advised they travel on their Canadian Passports with the cruise and just show their NZ passports when entering NZ. But my gut still says Princess will have an issue with this. My Cruise Coordinator doesn’t know. Ideally my husband and son can travel with Princess on their Canadian passports and simply use their NZ passports upon entry into New Zealand. Alternatively they they can travel on their NZ passports and obtain an ESTA for the US ports of call, but hoping to not have to do that. our cruise leaves Vancouver and heads to Seattle, Hawaii, Tahiti, Tauranga (NZ) and then Auckland (were we will be living). I think also have a stop in Tauranga on a Canadian passport without an NZeTa might pose a problem? Anyone here have experience with this? Or know who at Princess I can talk to? Thanks!

I'm currently on hold with Princess’s Visa Center to ask but I am not sure they are the correct entity to ask. My Cruise Coordinator doesn’t know.
