  1. We have sailed Princess 50 times, both Royal class and Grand class. I definitely prefer the Royal class.  We sailed Enchanted in March, November and July.  The July cruise was crowded with vacationing families with lots of kids. It was a totally different vibe than sailing her in March or November.  I think you’ll enjoy a winter cruise on her very much.

  2. My PVP upgraded my Premier to the new Premier.  I was able to book all of the additional specialty restaurant reservations with the exception of two nights for Sabatini’s.  I spoke to a rep from Princess who told me to book those two nights once we’re onboard.  She thought there may be special events planned for those nights.  Don’t know if that is true.  I plan to check once in a while - our trip is in November.

  3. We have stayed in E728 many times on Enchanted Princess.  Please let your husband know that the wraparound will definitely allow him to see the sides of the ship as well as look to the forward end of the ship.  You also get the benefit of the aft wake which is great.  The overhang is small (much larger on Riviera, Baja, or Dolphin) but your cabin is Hugh (much bigger than any of the other aft suites).  Have a wonderful time!

  4. Was on Enchanted a few weeks ago.  Never go to the buffet, stay away from the elevators, don't go to the theater.  Carried hand sanitizer and used it every time I held a hand rail ( thinking that could be the culprit).  Left the ship on Day 7 with a scratchy throat that turned into a head cold. (no covid - tested negative.). This seems to happen on every cruise.  I think the germs are just in the air, not in any particular place.

  5. We stayed in full suites many times and there were a few days that we couldn't get a reservation at a Specialty Restaurant until after 8:30.  Try to book specialty reservations as soon as you can, so you're not disappointed.

I really don't think there is priority for suites and RC minis if you wait too long.  Once the tables book, that's it.

The only other think you could possible do if you get shut out, is show up mid evening and see if they had any no-shows.
