Cool Cruiser (2/15)

  1. ha..you've got a point.. she's got one of those birthdays that aligns well with vacations so she tends to benefit there. Thanks for the responses specifically with the times.. i.e. 11 PM switch to18+ is doable. She'll want to do comedy clubs/ shows.. We may want to sit in a bar area, as long as she's not blocked completely from being there. The SPA age stinks, RCCL i think is 16. I can totally understand adults only on Disney Cruises, they can be overwhelming but not seeing the problem for a mother and her 17 year daughter to hang in a spa together but whatever.
  2. We are booked on Breakaway. seriously considering canceling..not just for the spa... but I don't want her to feel like she's excluded from the group or others not able to enjoy things for fear of her being left out..
  3. Thanks for the responses.. so she absolutely will not want to go off and find other 17 year olds to hang with.. she'll want to be with us. I've sailed RCL and Disney, I guess my question is more how restrictive is NCL.. are there multiple over 18 only venues where she will completely blocked from enjoying even if she's with all of us... or is the ship mostly open to all..
  4. Looking for advice, I was talked into a mother daughter cruise, which sounded like a great idea at the time. My problem is I have two daughters- 1 will be turning 17 day of sailing, the other is 20... The other daughters in the group are all 22-20 year olds... We also booked a thermal spa suite, without realizing the age restriction. Is my 17 year old going to be miserable being blocked from all 18+?
