Question Did anyone on this cruise have Travel Insurance with Travel Guard and did they pay out? I was on the original cruise Athens to Israel that got changed to Istanbul. I made a claim for the air add collect to change my route home out of Istanbul. I was decline due to act of war, the over road the trip interruption. This was frustrating as I was on the cruise before the war broke out this is why we buy insurance, right?

I would like to see something in writing that RSSC is not working with the guests for a refund or re-book option, I have not seen such a letter and I’m onboard.. They have been extremely accommodating and informative. They are doing their job to keep us SAFE there is nothing more important than that! they have the right to change the itinerary at any time to do so.

Our internet service is very bad at the moment I’m sure Regent will reach out tomorrow once they are open to reschedule flights bookings etc

Yes it was advised by the ship captain this evening. I am onboard now. I am also a Travel Advisor

Just advised we will be embarking in Istanbul on Oct 15th with the 14th at sea. And for those boarding they will be at sea2 days and then to Egypt from my understanding.

Yes onboard we are receiving the same. Still waiting! Still a very positive calm onboard.

Everyone onboard is patiently waiting … it seams to be a very calm subject at the moment I’m sure not so much behind the scenes. I do know there was an Oceania ship in port at the time of the events and they called all passengers onboard immediately. I’m not sure if it left port or not.

I am currently on the Voyager and we have no word as of yet, I am also a Travel Advisor so I am sure as soon as something is announced we will receive a written confirmation via email from headquarters. This will be a big job as all the air tickets in/ out of Tel Aviv will need to be changed and also pre and post stays. Regent will keep all of us safe. I will let you all know should I hear anything sooner than you onboard. If they make these changes and your air is booked through Regent they will make changes if you booked your air yourself then airlines have such waivers that allow changes …. I’m hoping everyone has travel insurance if some sort.
