Where did you get the coupon?

Do you know if you can just go to resort the day of?

For the British Colonial, I just emailed them and they said you can get a pass if they are not already sold out at the gift shop in the lobby for $66.  I don't know anything about a coupon, though, sorry!

I could be mistaken, but the program for under 2's is just times when the room isn't in use and you can bring your child there and stay with them and allow them to play.

Yes, I believe that’s right. Thats why I was thinking we probably don’t have to register?

  3. Does anyone know if we must register for this program?   My daughter and I are taking my 13 month old grandson and saw they have some time slots for under 2's to have play time in the play room.  Also, do the Family programs require registration?

  4. Any favorite spots to get a few drinks and snacks on the beach?   It'll be our first time, myself, my daughter and a toddler.  I don't want to taxi without a carseat or take an expensive excursion when we are unsure how long we will stay.

We almost never get Cheers and routinely get Cruise the Vineyards; typically the Premium. We enjoy wine and usually don't finish our bottle at dinner so there's often a 'room bottle'. We cruise so often that keeping the alcohol consumption down is paramount.

How does that work?  Do you have to carry the bottle back to your room after dinner?  I don’t understand how it works at the “main bars” either that it indicates on the website.

  6. Considering going on a cruise out of LA with my daughter and grandson this fall. I’m wondering how people with babies get around as I used to Uber but am a little hesitant to use an unknown car seat.  I usually get a hotel near the LAX airport but would like to pop over to Santa Monica for a bit as we would arrive the morning before the cruise.

Its as safe as any city bus ever is. Use your judgement and be aware of your surroundings.

You can select Ubers that offer car seats which is personally what I would do in this situation.

I was mostly wondering if that bus went through a particularly bad part of town.  I’m a little leery of using a car seat without knowing its recall status, if it’s been installed correctly etc.

  8. Hi there, my daughter and I are considering a cruise out of LA this October with a baby in tow and staying near LAX - we arrive the morning before the cruise.  Is the Big Blue Bus line safe for two women and a baby to take to Santa Monica during daylight hours?   We want to avoid using Uber due to the need for a car seat.

  9. Yes, that is the NCL way, and I'm pretty sure the other lines as well.  I have an app called Shipmate that has a price-tracking feature.  I'm not 100% sure if it's accurate?  It just notified today my cruise dropped 6% so I've asked my PVP to look into that for me to see if that's true.  If others know of a better app, I would be all ears!
