Hi - We are taking our first-ever cruise in July - Celebrity Summit, leaving from Seward. At our first stop in Juneau, we have booked the Mendenhall Glacier Rafting which ends at 3:30pm. Since we will be in port until 9pm, we were considering going up the Goldbelt Tram (weather permitting) and doing some hiking at the top. How quick/easy will it be to get back on and off the ship?
We would want to get back on to change clothes/shoes and grab our hiking stuff/snacks/water. Oh, and grab the SLR camera! I assume that for rafting, we would only bring stuff with us that we can fit into our pockets or maybe a small hip pack (they don't have lockers to store gear). So just trying to understand if getting on and back off is going to be fairly quick or an hour-long process.
Thanks in advance for your help!
