  1. We went on a first ever cruise in March and Great Stirrup Cay was a blast!

Unlike most people here, my son loved the tendering and today he even made up a song to sing.

Guess I'd share the song here.

    You are my tender
    My only tender
You make me happy when Pearl can't dock
You'll never know dear, how much I love you
Please don't take my tender away 🎵

and it's apparently one email for all program participants, which is just lazy marketing. they know which level every player has achieved... they should be sending out customized emails for each tier level.

I believe this is incapable under their IT. They even can't show a player's points.

My wife is not a TA but she helps a woman she knows make travel arrangements for cruises.  If that woman's flight got cancelled and she had to book another flight that was more expensive, do you think it is logical to force my wife to pay that difference?

All NCL is doing is providing a service for booking your flights.  Once the tickets are issued the flights are now in the hands of the airlines.  NCL has no decision-making abilities when it comes to cancelling or delaying flights so why would they ever be expected to cover the costs associated with them?

I think this is a little bit more complicated than this. Unlike your wife, NCL is a TA.

In many cases, a flight ticket from a TA needs to be changed ONLY through the TA, even when the airline is willing to change for free.

NCL is at least responsible for responding to the calls.

    Slightly off-topic, tips & tricks -

There is an "undocumented" option to download the "Norwegian" App (iOS and Android) onboard NCL ships, as long as you are connected properly to its WiFi inTRAnet (not using airtime minutes) - once you get to the "Sign On" screen - look closely & you should a small icon/link at the bottom of that webpage, it is free for "you" the user to download & install the NCL App on the spot (if you forgotten to do that before embarkation).  The app is, apparently, stored onboard ship's cached server and will install - an airtime allowance of 10 minutes associated with that session is given, free, at no extra charge whatsoever as the "connection" is typically sluggish & slow at best.

P.S.  Once done & installed, with a bit of luck, you might still have 3 to 5 minutes of "free" access to browse the inTERnet as long as you do not log out & disconnect.  This will only work one-time on a given cruise, for devices that hasn't been registered and/or added to the whitelist under your account (as in "Remember the device" option, enabled)  Have fun & do tell & share if this "trick" works - that you read it here first on CC and past it along.

This is how I used to use wifi on Delta before they made it free. Download the Delta app link triggers free wifi 15 minutes or so and I could use that exactly 10 times. That's more than enough for a long-haul flight.

That is so strange. We are both on the US site, so you would think both summaries would be structured identically....but, then again, it's NCL's website, I've learned that nothing should surprise me!🤣

Also in US, the summary showed taxes yesterday morning, but not in the evening.

this suggestion - all inclusive pricing - only works if all cruise lines do it.

similar to the airlines, they likely won't all do it without guv'ment regulation.

If they do include tips in the fare, people will suggest additional tips. Like times before the DSC.
