Just checking, not flown out with P & O for a few years.

Are you allowed to carry purchases in the duty free on in a separate bag or does it have to fit inside your single allowance bag please?

I'm also assuming a small cross body bag is also not allowed?

Apparently, according to Celebrity and our TA, at this point there has been no change to the plans to sail directly out of Venice on 6th September 2021.

I also asked our TA about possible relocation to Ravenna.

She told me she had no information that there was any changes to the booking and said that Constellation is only just over the designated weight limit for sailing out of Venice so would not break any guidelines on tonnage restrictions

 I hope it was lack of geographical awareness/grammar of the Guest Support Unit agent and nothing more.

Yes I am just assuming due to the announcement from RC that Celebrity will follow suit. The conservationists are trying to make all ships sail from Ravenna to save the canals in Venice.

Hello All

We have our first med cruise booked from Venice in September 2021 but we are expecting that it may be transferred to Ravenna? Not sure when we will know?

We will need a hotel for 1 night pre-cruise and I am wondering if it would be easier to reserve one in Ravenna rather than travel into Venice and then go back again the next day?

Would anyone have any advice please?

Yes you can have your fridge emptied if you want to use the space for your water, or you can have it locked or you can just leave it and be advised that if you drink anything from it you will be charged! even if you have the drinks package - the mini bar is not included! Its silly I think but that's the way it is

We have used them many times and the service was very good. It may be possible to book direct with the resort in some cases as sometimes the cost is different

I've sailed previously on NCL--way, way back in the day, and have had two recent cruises in a Carnival Spa cabin--where I avoided the casino at night because of the smoke.

My questions about Celebrity:

Looks like movies are played on the upper deck--is that correct?

What's the food situation? We aren't picky, but do like options.

And most important to my husband--is there ice cream? He's kinda in love with the 24/7 soft serve on Carnival.

We were on the Jan 14th 2020 and the ship is simply lovely after the huge re-fit

Yes movies on the upper deck

Food options are plentiful and all are great

Yes there is ice cream 😊

We were on board on the14th Jan sailing and loved every minute. The re-fit is superb.

We have got quite used to the S Class but Summit didn't disappoint this year

We first sailed in her to Hawaii in 2007 and our friends had the PH where we  spent a fabulous evening sailing past the volcano.  

We have booked Connie for next year and she too will have had the same re-fit

At the pool there will be music

if you join the roll call you will be chatting to other people and get to know them so when you meet at the bar at sail away it’s a chance to finally meet who you have been chatting to - it’s a completely different concept

I don't know about events but we have been on board a few times on St Patricks day and many people wore green and special t shirts and green beads, hats  etc. The ship had a huge green display in the buffet

The whole day is definitely very green
