Cool Cruiser (2/15)

  1. We have a multi-port USB device as well and will be bringing that for phones, electric toothbrush charging, electric razor charging, etc. Will need several regular plug-ins for a laptop and a few other devices.
  2. Thanks for all of the comments and recommendations! Looks like this one would work, too. https://www.amazon.com/Outlets-Desktop-Charging-Station-Extension/dp/B07V32PJ59/ref=sr_1_11?crid=3S8GNRQOESPBV&dib=eyJ2IjoiMSJ9.AGUGOZxj9-aoZ06KouGBf5ZVymwbUGdWhqXcrx4tM23w-Mdwy2mHll1YNSjQ6aKoc7W2NZmIEPmAiJk6hh6ATvGIkbFc2Ag8RoFoueJldc9DUbAfN7XJnJdkAs4pymuy-qAJVnLVdMrQAmoF2YUJvTXSg9TRVYm8poPdt8ozAKu0NEbXuA9O5ET_DK3w9sMAtgwX2SOK8rgX0yOMOE2srhtuQrSgOn134fVQzXz3gfw.f67dpNydrlwx7nFIhX8JXxracfcXb88dqAviBBNT7vs&dib_tag=se&keywords=power%2Bstrip%2Bfor%2Bprincess%2Bcruise%2Bship&qid=1715885876&sprefix=power%2Bstrip%2Bfor%2Bprincess%2Bcrusie%2Bship%2Caps%2C186&sr=8-11&th=1
  3. My family and I will be taking a cruise on the Emerald Princess in a few weeks. Haven't been on a cruise in about 24 years. Can anyone familiar with the cabins on this specific ship provide any information on how many available electrical outlets are typically available in the cabins? Just planning ahead for the trip. Also, if any power strips are permitted, does anyone have any specific ones that they'd recommend that will work on this ship? Are the available outlets 110-volt outlets with US plug fittings or European-style 220-volt outlets? Thanks in advance for any info. / recommendations you can provide. Just making sure we've got the ability to expand those available outlets to charge phones, probably a laptop, etc.
  4. We'll be doing various activities at the various port stops, so the at-port-only Internet connections may not suffice for her to get her online college classwork completed. She'll prob. do a lot of that aboard ship while hanging out by the pool and/or during some other off-time going in-between the various ports. Good suggestion though if we could make that work to just use connections at ports only.
  5. My wife and I went on a cruise in 2000. Haven't been on another one since then. Going via Princess on a Southern Caribbean cruise this summer... 10 days to 6 ports in the Caribbean. Trying to determine if either of the Princess Plus or Princess Premier packages would be advantageous for us to get or not. None of us drink alcohol, so that benefit associated with the packages is automatically a non-issue for us. My daughter will definitely need an Internet connection as she's taking a summer course in college and will need to jump on from time to time to work on material for the course at her own leisure throughout the cruise, so at minimum, we'd get an Internet package for her throughout the cruise. Here is the breakdown between the 2 available packages: https://www.princess.com/en-us/cruise-deals-promotions/plus-premier-cruise-packages Internet for 1 device for the entire 10-day cruise would run $249.90. Internet for up to 4 connected devices for the entire 10-day cruise would run $449.90. Looks to me that we could just get the Princess Premier package for just 1 of us for $80/day and at least have the benefit of connecting 4 devices to WiFi and just have the other benefits associated with the Princess Premier package for 1 of us. Any thoughts/recommendations as to whether or not either of these packages (or just a WiFi-only package) might be beneficial to us are greatly appreciated. Just trying to think through the options and make the best decision for the upcoming cruise.
