Does anyone know if this program is

going to be continued on Alaska sailings

this summer?

We will be sailing on the Volendam in May in a Neptune suite

and wondered where the full breakfast is served for suite

passengers on this ship.

Also if you have sailed on Volendam recently, how does she look?

The best thing to do about wine packages etc. is to buy them once

you get on board. You will have no trouble finding someone to sell

them to you and then you have them.

The official reason the service has been cancelled in

Vancouver is because there were not enough passengers

purchasing the US Direct or luggage direct to make the

program worthwhile for the airport and transit authorities.

It wasn't only HAL that had small numbers. It is unfortunate

because Vancouver airport spent alot of money on a special

terminal for this program.

I´m just off the Westie so can give you a report.

The cruise director Drew is from Australia. He and the

captain PJ have quite a fun time teasing each other.

The piano bar is standard and was quite busy.

The Northern Lights disco is never busy.

The Exploration Lounge with the classical entertainment is

busy.

The dancing and fun is mostly the Ocean Bar (which also has

the happy hour (4 -5 )

The shows in the theatre were very good.

Stage and Screen is the best

There is a European type travel and dance one very good

Rockin something also good

The Broadway one so so

Let us entertain you short and sort of fun with a game show.

In the Queens Lounge they have fun things every night at 9pm

Karioke and talent contests here

movies here

cooking shows here

Things change every few weeks with new entertainers and especially

if the entertainment director changes.

There´s lots more, you won´t be bored.
