Thanks for the information crystalspin. Did you have any advice regarding my questions about shore excursions?

I use poles to walk on unfamiliar ground. I struggle with rocky uneven terrain and have trouble on high rise stairs. Are shore excursions in alaska labelled medium OK for me? Is it relatively easy to get on tour boats and train?
