  1. The over charges happened to us last month on the

14 night Eclipse. The wine steward was lazy.

Upon sitting at the table he took our cards (both Premuim).

What he did was add up the total of the wines each

of us had at the table 2-3 glasses each.

He imput the total & then swiped our cards.

Because the total was in excess of the $12 limit we

were both charged for $30-35 each. He did this

the 1st 3 days despite my mentioning it on night #2.

All was resolved by visiting Guest Relations THREE TIMES.

The 1st time I did not tip the wine steward.

  2. In our case Off the Eclipse yesterday.

1st night Wine Steward took our premium beverage

cards when we sat down. We ordered 2 glasses

of wine each at dinner. He imput the total $$ for

the two glasses on each card. This exceeded

the $12 limit & we were charged as tho

we had no package. It also happened on night 2.

I went to customer service to resolve the problems

& they were immediately corrected. I also SPOKE

to the Wine steward on night 3 BUT the same thing

happened on night 4. Result-another trip to customer

service desk & NO TIP for the Wine Steward.

  3. Your cruise card will be coded with your package.

The bartenders just swipe it & return to you.

    There is nothing to sign.

The sailaway drinks usually come in some "fancy"

glass which will up the price over the $8 classic limit.

P.S. If you have a ? just ask the bartender

if your package covers any drink you order.

  4. A number of years ago we were on a 14 night R/T Hawaii

on Celebrity. (Pre auto tipping). The 1st evening I gave the

    cabin steward a $50 (1/2 the "normal" tip).Received

great service for 2 days. On the 3rd morning there's

a knock on the door & the NEW cabin steward introduces

himself. The old steward was transferred to another

deck with my $50. Lesson learned. LOL

  5. The following have locations JUST FOR

Port Everglades. You can drop off &

    pickup at these agencies.

    Alamo--Avis--Budget--Dollar--Hertz--Thrifty

""IF"" you drop off at FLL you will have to take

a shared bus that stops at ALL piers.

It is very time consuming and CROWDED.

All of the above have free shuttles to/from all piers.

When booking online MAKE SURE it says

    Port Everglades/Cruise Port.

  6. Yes-You can book just as tho you were on RCL.

Low deposit amount $100P/P-OBC depending on

length. TA (13/14 days) should generate

a $200 OBC. IF you booked your Celebrity thru

a travel agent the RCL booking is passed to them

& they will probably add something to the pot.

We did it last week on the Constellation for

    the Freedom of the Seas.
