I booked a cruise for next year also and my pvp said the FCC can be applied when it is posted.  However, I was required to put a DP on it.

Why, shucks guys, has and is Florida sending home all the sick people who are not residents of Florida or even of our great nation??  I am ashamed to say I was raised in Florida after following this post since day 1!  I am retired in east Texas now, over 70, bring them to Galveston and we will take care of them.  Texas Strong.

We are on the same cruise as NCTribe.  We have no doubt that our cruise will be cancelled but HAL has asked those outside the current 30 days to be patient to allow them to clear this up.  Then, I expect them to do the next 30 and so on.  Normally I am not a patient person but this is not something anyone could have predicted and they are all handling it as best they can.  I bet if I was to call my PVP at Carnival, who has booked many cruises for me would not give me an immediate answer and I have a cruise scheduled with her in August.  Patience, lets give them a chance to handle the situation that is also devastating to them.

Normally one dining room and the Lido Buffet are available as soon as you go onboard.

I have never had a problem with door decorations I have put up. I use the foam sheets with designs that I put on it such as shells, boats, etc. My granddaughter and I made our first ones as we took our first cruise together. I still have it!

Hi is anybody going on the Splendor Alaska 14 day journey cruise August 25th 2018 do not see a roll call for it yet.

Yes, there is a roll call started. It shows the 25 August date but does not have the year on it.

Can anyone tell me if there is an additional fee for the thalassotheraphy pool? If so, how much and do you pay by the day, hour, or the cruise? And is it worth it? Thanks!

Yes, it is part of the Thermal Spa Package. I don't recall price but I do believe you can do it by a daily price instead of having to get if for total cruise. For me it is worth it as long as I do use it every day. However, on port days I am not as prone to using it.

Probably not since they are sanitizing the terminal also.

We are going thru the same decision as to whether we should fly or drive. I so hate airports! We are going to Alaska out of Seattle in June. A 3 to 4 day drive each way. But it is an opportunity to see our great country and that is what is leaning me to drive. Really spoiled as I am only a few hours from Galveston so that is convenient but have also gone out of NO and Mobile.

I have always found that there are specials offered during the cruises. I always wait and book one during the cruise.

I love to cruise. That is a vacation of choice. Going on my 6th next May. Finally got DH to try it out and he goes with me now. There is no place in the world that offers the relaxation of being at sea.

Really enjoying your review. Went on the Magic before and going on the Dream May 2014. Can't wait!!!
