I don't believe the JSs were ever classed for CL privileges.
Hi Geri I may be wrong but it's a very long time since I was in a JS for me to argue the point:)
Just now I am thinking of booking Liberty in May. we had her booked for last October but had to cancel on the day before our flight due to Sue contracting labyrinthitis. We did however manage to do Jewel Caribbean in February so now time for another.:D
Happy days

We are Diamond+ and had nice times and met nice people in the CL. We have had balcony, junior suite, grand suite and owner's suites but I believe that junior suites are not now classed as a suite for the CL

The only thing I find with RCL is nowadays the bigger ships are unable to dock anywhere and in any case they may only do 3 stops on a 7 day cruise and that's why we are on Jewel 1st Feb for 6 island stops again. The Diamond Plus deal is another story.

Been nice to read your review. We will be on her on Feb 1st. We like aft cabins but they are not always so easy to get. Our first cruise was on Radiance 11 years ago and also been on the other Radiance class ships so I'm sorry to read that you thought she was a little bit under par. That will not spoil our enjoyment though. We chose Jewel purely for the itinerary. We've done the Southern trip a few times and always enjoy it.
We fly in to San Juan via Atlanta on Jan 29th to stay at the Intercontinental for 3 nights which is quite near the airport.

I have to say that most of the ones we have encountered were very good except for a couple who I thought could have mixed in more.

We got the same feeling from the Concierge on Liberty.
We are going on Navigator in May. We are diamond plus members and we have earned our entry into the Concierge lounge. We have been in balcony stateroom, junior suite and owner's suite. Nothing fazes us. Just go for it.

I have the opportunity to book an aft cabin on this ship, which by reading many of your comments is a coveted location. However, it's on Deck 7 - right above a bar on Deck 6. I'm thinking this may not be ideal and possibly why these rooms are still available. Anyone have any experience with these rooms on this ship? Will it be a problem? I'd appreciate feedback ASAP as I have to decide very quickly. Thxs - D
Go for it quickly. They are brilliant. We've had 1600 corner GS on Serenade, Deck 7 JS aft on Voyager , corner suite on Costa Atlantica. They are our position of choice. They have all been very quiet and peaceful and great to just sit on the balcony and see the wake behind you.

I just booked our 17th cruise with RCL on Liberty, cabin 7708. I'm sure that must warrant the odd G & T in the CL.
