Ours is the port one but will wave down the hall at yours! I love the Sun minisuites but I wasn’t even tempted to go for an upgrade with this balcony !

The Sun was my first cruise also and I spent 34 days sailing from Buenos Aires to San Francisco in 2016. Loved every minute! Clay, I have one of the forward facing BC balconies starting May 21 on the Cuba 4 day. I am looking forward to seeing the Sun!

Thanks for your great review...my daughter and I are going to Cuba on the Sun in a few weeks and we booked the Vinales Valley tour ! Looking forward to this even the bus ride.....LOL!

Thanks so much for your report! I had hoped that there would be an upgrade to add USB ports to the bedside lighting as they did on the Pearl. Los Lobos is a real bonus for the Sun ...my favorite ship sailing to Cuba in May! Enjoy your cruise!

Does anyone have a photo of what the 220 plug looks like. I brought an adapter that did not fit but can’t remember why...this was on the Dawn. On the Pearl there were USB ports in the bed lights that were great. I always used the Belkin but now I guess I need an alternative. Thanks!

Thanks for the information...everyone I know wants a BOX of cigars so don’t think that’s happening but we have been told we can buy them at the tobacco farm we are visiting on our excursion.

Can recent Cuba cruisers give me an idea of how much cigars (each) and rum ( liter)would cost inCUCs ....just wondering how much to exchange so not to have to reexchange on leaving? Just a range would help ! Thanks!

Shore Ex cannot do it you have to wait until the 2 credits appear on primary booking account then request that 50 dollars be transferred from primary account to other account at guest services. The primary has to sign a voucher transfer form. We had six excursions booked and requested transfer several times during the cruise. It worked out very well for us!

We are leaving the Dawn today. We had 2 $50 credits per port. I booked the Shore Ex by calling the number in Miami prior to cruising. No charges made but the excursions appeared on each of our accounts on day one. The platinum plus discount was not automatic but it was a simple thing to adjust at the Shore Ex desk. Following the advice of another CC member once the two credits were applied to the primary account, I requested that one credit be applied to the other account and it was quickly done. All six excursion transfers were handled quickly and efficiently even one that was added onboard when we had a port change.

Just did this on the Dawn I had 2 250 packages (500 minutes)and had to pay $90 to get unlimited for 10 days of 11 day cruise. I used my platinum plus minutes the first day. So far the internet works very well inside the ship not so well on balcony.

If Pier B is Mallory then the Sun will be there on 5-22-18 rather than Outer Mole...according to the calendar in the link. Hope that’s good news!
