We arrive on Friday for a Sunday departure. How many hours till that test is void?
Received an email last last night after we were tested at the Airport that the Convention site has now reopened again.
We are staying at Canada Place and cruise tomorrow, I will verify that they are in fact open again.

I am happy you had a great cruise and your luggage made it. I follow HA Mariners on FB. Someone was asking for a place to buy reasonably priced clothing in Oslo. They had no luggage for an 18 day voyage.
Watching the Koningsdam docking live at Canada Place here in Vancouver. We sail tomorrow on the Noordam.

Arrived in Vancouver today, cleared customs, waited an hour for luggage, went to 3rd floor US checking and got our Covid 19 tests.
Taxi line was about 45 minutes, long day.
Both got negative results, all clear to sail on Noordam on Sunday, July 10th.
Great city, great evening tonight at the Tap Room at the Convention centre.

Got a email a couple of minutes ago stating the site is still not open for our Covid test tomorrow at the convention center by Canada Place, please make arrangements to be tested at Vancouver International Airport.
We fly in early tomorrow morning from Florida and will show up at the testing site at the Airport after we clear customs.
Not sure when the site will be operational.

BTW, it's super smokey here in Fairbanks today. All 3 of us are getting congested and wearing a KN95 mask really helps reduce the pungent smell.
I see on the Weather Underground Map there are at least 6 fires affecting the Fairbanks area. We had a hiking vacation smoked out several years ago in Glacier National Park.

We got the exact same notification yesterday for our 17 July Nieuw Amsterdam out of Vancouver. I am assuming it is a typo and is supposed to be noon. It seems like all of the boarding times are staggered by 20 minutes, so moving from Group B at 12:20 to Group A would make noon make sense. I also checked that our ship arrives in Vancouver that morning at 7 am. Is it realistic that they will get all of the passengers and luggage off and get the ship cleaned in less than 3 hours?
But if it sticks, 10:00 would be great (we are flying in the day before)!
We've never had such an early check-in, but if that the case we will welcome a 10:00 AM check-in.

getting the boat in Vancouver
Get tested before your cruise at the Vancouver Airport or Convention Center next to the Cruise Port (Canada Center). There are other options such as the Fairmont Hotel.
Here is a link to schedule your appointment.

It will change before you go. I have never seen 10 am but if they can be ready that quickly, why not?
It was 12:20 PM, changed to 10:00 AM this past week. No worry we are staying at Canada Place.

We sailed from Vancouver, filled out ArriveCan on the way to Vancouver, then again before the Fraser, Canada border crossing.
