With babies in diapers it's not the pee you need to worry about. Urine is reasonable sterile compared to what else might leak out, and that could make people really sick.

I would love something like a mudslide, but I don't like coffee flavours. Can I get a chocolate only mudslide.... virgin or not ...on the classic drinks package? Also the pink squirrel sounds good, can I order that? I think creamy drinks, rather than acidic ones ... not too fussed about the brand of licor. .

Because bags sometimes go missing, and I want to at least have a complete change of clothes, chargers for electrical items, and some toiletries/cosmetics

I had to call twice, and then go down to guest services in person twice as well, before the a/c got resolved. One staff member said to me 'It can't be that bad, because I have been working all night and you didn't come down at 2am' 😮

This was out first Carnival cruise, and we were tempted by the routing & price. We used to cruise HAL or Oceania, then recently converted to Princess. Good Points - Great routing at a reasonable price - Standard Balcony cabin a good size with good storage and a mini fridge (decor a bit dated) .. cabin steward great - Good casual dining options - Guys burger, pizzas, ice cream, deli sandwich bar, cafe hot buffet + salad bar - Love the Serenity area to relax in - Some fantastic musicians playing around the ship in the evening, in a choice of bars - Dining room, we had 2 good dinners and 1 awful one - Quick and easy embarkation Bad Points - The pride looks very dated, and in need of repairs and a refurb - Air con didn't work for days, despite reporting it (then air con engineer left cabin door open) - Toilet in the cabin stopped working twice (one of those times apparently half the ship had the same issue) - Guest Services staff very unhelpful, really rude at times - No info given about scenic cruising, or ports of call including where docked + general lack of info in Captains announcements - Can be difficult to get a seat to eat in the Lido as people sit there playing cards etc - No paper daily program (difficult for those without smart phones) We would cruise Carnival again, but probably not on the Pride until she has been renovated -

We are just off the Pride, and we really didn't like the look of the ship, so dark in the atrium area, and lots of areas needed repairs. Also we had repeated issue with the air con not working (either constant hot air, or constant icy air with no control over it) and the toilets not flushing. The guest services staff are the most unhelpful, and at times totally rude, I have ever come across. Having said that there were good points. The singers & musicians on board were great, and in general the food was good. Our cabin steward was a superstar, as were some of the dining room staff. We paid a reasonable price, and visited beautiful ports.

I want some of that Chocolate melting cake now 😀 Neither of us drink tea, so that's not a problem Do the standard balcony cabins have mini fridges in? Thanks again for all the information, you have all made me hungry!

Thank you for all the really useful information. Can I ask how Carnival works with tickets for the entertainment shows at the moment, do we need to pre-book? Also how they do tendering.... if you get tickets for a set time in advance, or go along when you are ready and wait

Thanks for all the great information. Are masks mandatory anywhere on board now? I am still in shock at being out of cabins by 6.30am, that's really strange.

We are sailing on the Pride ex Dover UK in a couple of weeks. Have taken quite a few cruises before, but we are new to Carnival. Any good advice for us..... your favourite places on the ship, best things to eat, Carnival highlights we shouldn't miss? Thanks

You had to be out of your rooms by 6.15am? We are on the Pride in a couple of weeks, and that is shocking! Never been asked to be out the cabin before 8am before

Can anyone help with the Carnival testing requirements ex the UK please? The Carnival website is not very helpful, we are on the Pride ex Dover in July. Not sure which type of tests are acceptable (i'm guessing lateral flow is fine), if they have to be video witnessed, and how long before the cruise we do them. We are fully vaccinated.
