I think that all comments here are an enormous bank of information for the new potential travellers who are not yet sure which ship to choose. Unfortunately, Princess has a very old fleet. But they still continue using them in Australia under the name of P&O Australia. One of the latest changes was to withdraw the Sun Princess and transfer it to the cheaper version under the name of the Pacific Adventure. I know because i cruised on both of them. I wanted to see the changes and comoare the standard.

The bathrooms still aren't working? I was on the Sapphire on the cruise before this and gave up on the public bathrooms on day 2. That should have been a sign the ship wasn't in good shape. I'm so sorry for everyone on your cruise. 

On the Sapphire now. Waiting to disembark, but they are calling groups. This ship definitely needs upgrades.

I thought it worked well on the Koningsdam over Thanksgiving. My only gripe was I didn't realize I couldn't download podcasts on the Surf package--didn't realize that was considered streaming. So I did that when in port.

Getting picked up by Lyft on Saturday Nov. 25 after my cruise ended was a nightmare. I kept getting assigned new drivers, and no one showed. Had to take a cab for twice the price. Park and shuttle if you can.

Getting the same for my cruise that leaves Saturday. Glad I printed them out the other day.

I'll be on the ship in 2 weeks. Unfortunately to hear about the smoking inside--you'd think they could spring for better ventilation around the shops. 

So you can get slices of pizza, not just whole ones? That's good to know.

I assume that on the Thanksgiving cruise, where the last port is Ensenada before we return to San Diego, there isn't any of this immigration hassle until we actually disembark? Or at least anything would be on the ship itself. 

I'd start with a white wine. A Pinot Grigio maybe?

I'll be on the Koningsdam Nov. 18 cruise. Right now the Navigator shows that every night is smart casual. Is that correct? I thought the 7-night cruises have two gala nights. 

Just made reservations for Tamarind for the Thanksgiving week Koningsdam cruise.

I saw a video of the fitness center on the Beyond that showed you have to walk up a flight of stairs to access the exercise equipment. Is there any elevator access to that area? My mom uses a walker but would like to be able to use the exercise bikes. A long flight of stairs makes that difficult.

Moot point. The travel agent who made reservations for the group we're traveling with decided it was best to cancel. 

My mom and I will be on the Apex next month. We had hoped to eat at Eden one night, but nothing has been available for weeks. We are not in a suite or using a dining package. Does the ship hold back some reservations? Hoping something opens up.
