  1. We did it, docked from Mo Bay. It is doable, but your time to tour the island would be limited. We did Dunn's, stopped for lunch and headed straight back. We've been to Jamaica several times, so touring was not important to us, but to others it may be. I agree with others, best from Ocho

  2. I love Mo Bay. I admit I had reservations years ago and only went to a private resort. But years later and with more research I allowed my family and I to venture out with a private tour company (Courtney Tours)for the past 3 years. We travel with 2 kids and were never approached by "drug dealers". Do they look like me? No, not really, but I don't allow that to scare me. I will say that they are a little pushy with sells, but I never felt scared. Just Say No, venture out with a well-known company, and experience Jamaica. Always...keep your kids close and think smart.

  3. ditto Reggae..

The service is good and the food is good. Not much interaction with the employees....order your food and pay. They can sound abrupt at times, but that's just their tone. Wonderful people. The jerk is not spicy, but it can be VERY spicy with the sauce. We got some cornbread that they have on the menu. OMG it was awesome. We just got 3 pieces to share, but wish we would have gotten more. I like trying local food. The corn is also good. Go and Enjoy!

  4. Please let there be no doubt in booking with Courtney and his team. We just returned 2 weeks ago from Mo Bay. First of all, professional. The correspondence I had with his office (Samantha) was excellent and timely. We corresponded through email several times. She offered ideas of things to do in Jamaica as well as researched some prices of things that I wanted to do.

Feeling safe in Jamaica was important to me and I could not have felt safer. His transportation was a van for the 8 of us. Nice, clean, cool and comfy. Don't be afraid...step out in Mo Bay and enjoy.

His team was very friendly and knowledgeable. We went to Dunn's River and then to Scotchies for lunch. During the ride we were entertained with singing, knowledge about the country and good ole' fun conversation. He made sure that he was aware of the time and got us back to the ship in great time.

The only problem that I can address is the fact that we did not have more time. Really....The country is beautiful and he was so wonderful to be around. We could have toured all day. He made us feel very comfortable and as I told him.... I will be back. I could not have been more honest in this review. I know some people have negative experiences with some companies, but Courtney did not let me down at all. A+

  5. Disney has pirate night. It's super fun. But I know it cost them some money has they have characters dressed up, and have a menu and such.

water balloon fight sounds like a very bad idea, as then the balloons could end up in the ocean and killing fish.

*Setting up craft areas or games for parents to play with there kids.

*Bringing out a box/bag of blocks/legos and giving everyone a theme to make. Space would be limited but it could a sign up (free) and offered a few times.

*An outdoor playground or indoor one. Somewhere the kids can RUN and play, just be free and have fun. (That's an issue we have, no where to just run. and limited on playing WITH your kid). They have enough bars. The kids need an open spot to play.

    * pj story time. who doesn't love a good story? Hell, they can be lazy/no cost and have an audio book/readalong cd.

    *coloring sheets/crayons in the library

    *star gazzing

    *sundae making

More activities for parents & kids.

I love the more parent and kid games. The bigger ships have sports deck, but other than that not much. I take my daughter to towel folding and thats a bonding time for us. Wish there was more!

  6. I'd say you have to know how to swim to fully enjoy it. That and the climbing can get a little treacherous. Not because of the height but because of the difficult rocky terrain.

    I wouldn't recommend taking a 2 year old.

Just my opinion and others may say different.

Not really what I wanted to hear...but I think you're right. I'll keep it safe... Any suggestions other than Dr. Cave

  7. What's the difference between these 2 forms? I'm having the hardest time requesting for my price reduction. My PVP keeps telling me to fill it out on line. The form is not going through. I've just noticed one form says "price protection, and the other says Price Guarantee" asking a few different questions, but basically the same. I've tried several times. Last time I saw a price drop i called 1 800 and they did it for me, this time even 1 800 is telling me to fill it out on line. I've used browser internet explorer and google chrome. The form is not going through. PVP and 1 800 says fill it out and they wont just give me the reduction. Please help.
