I can answer this. We just got off LOS yesterday. They definitely still have it! I went there specifically to get one. It was really good! Cost was $14. But, what I highly recommend doing is the mixology class. It was only $25 & you get to learn & make 5 different martini recipes. Plus, they fill full glasses of every drink they make during the course of the class & hand those out to everyone at the end. I had 3 full martinis sitting there to drink when it was over. It was really so much fun & absolutely worth the cost just for all the drinks you end up with. I was only sorry we waited till the last day to do it. Most of the other people in the class had also done it the day before & had enjoyed it so much they came back to do it again.
Was the martini class something you could sign up for on the planner before the cruise?

Watch the planner for deals too. We got 30% off and often see 20% off.

Two questions: do they supply transportation from the ship and is seafood included in the inclusive menu?
The transportation is not provided by Nachi, you will need to get a cab at the port and they will call for a cab when you're ready to leave. The cost is yours.
They do offer seafood, I had the shrimp and it was good.

We were on Navigator with over 500 Cajuns. They had their own music shows in studio B. They were a fun group. My wife got some great gumbo advice that has been paying off for me[emoji41]

Even as a boogie boarder you can hit that back wall pretty hard. It's padded but it will get ya.

I've noticed in pictures and mentioned in reviews that there are various rental mats, floats, etc. available for rent at Nachi Cocum now. Does anyone know what items are available and approximate costs?
Wondering the same thing, how much for the floating mats and for the paddle boarding?
Thanks!

Thanks!

Ok I booked a 2:30 flight lol with lay overs it's going to be an All day and night Fiasco but it was the cheapest one so we'll make the best of it! Now to find transportation to Hotel ( comfort Inn in Galveston) on Aug 26th and then from cruise port back to Hobby on Sept 3rd[emoji21]

Check out Galveston Limo, best price I've seen. Haven't used them but planning to in September.

I would book later that that. Galveston is 45 mins to Hobby and over an hour to Bush. If you have a shared ride it would be tough to make a 1130 flight. Galveston is known for being a bit slow in get off and though customs as well.

Yes, I booked with them via email. They are slow in replies however. She sent me a voucher with monies due upon arrival and directions to meet the driver.
When are you going?

I just booked Mayan Princess direct and didn't have to pay any deposit. They didn't ask for any credit card info, so I'd say there isn't any risk. It will be $86.25

Hilton Resort has park and cruise with shuttles to port.
When I looked online the price was crazy but got better rate by calling the hotel direct.

They have to get this figured out soon. Bartenders should tell you when ordering if it's an added cost and have you sign for it. It appears that they're ripping us off if they don't and that leads to hard feelings.

Wondering what the deposit is and when they expect full payment?
Does the day pass include the pool area?
How long is the snorkel trip?
Thanks,
Tom

They do a deposit for each guest (if I recall it was $10 a person) through paypal then will send you an invoice for the remaining amount about a month before your date for final payment. You'd have to email with them about cancellation questions I'm not sure.
Thanks

How does the payment work? Do you have a deposit or payment at time of reservation? Is it refundable at all?
Thanks!

just count the package cost, you will pay gratuities either way.
If you drink the coffee drinks or soda, that will help get you there too.

Only reason why I asked about food was because once we went to a 5 star resort and got sick from the food. Isn't Maya Chen the one run by American ex pats?
Sent from my iPad using Forums mobile app
Yes, its owned and ran by Americans that also cruise so they know what were looking for. Check out the website, they have a page that explains why they opened Maya Chan.
Outstanding food and service, cant wait to returned next year.

Maya Chan has floats, floating chairs and other stuff included in price. They even bring drinks out to you in the water.
