  1. We sailed on her in January and had FTTF. We arrived at the port at 10:30 and they started boarding at 11:30. We were the 3rd group to board after Diamond and Platinum. They sit you in a separate area from general boarding. Our stateroom was ready and our bags came very quickly. It all went very smoothly and fairly quickly. It was worth it for Debarkation as well. We did self assist and we were in our car at 9:15 am! Priority Tender was great too. They had a separate elevator and we walked right on the tender.

It was worth it to us! We had a great time!

  2. I placed an order for some surprises for my son several weeks ago and encountered the same thing. I emailed the Funshops through FAQ and they had record of it but stated they do not send emails or put it in your booking info for fear of ruining a surprise. They had everything in order so I am not too worried!

  3. I am sorry that this has turned into such a negative post. I was simply trying to help my fellow cruisers save some of their hard earned $$. To the person who is questioning my character and integrity, you do not know me. You have no idea what my character and integrity are like so do not question them.

To those that had success with the code, AWESOME! To those that did not, I am sorry!

  4. For those that do not wish to mix with the "commoners" on a cruise, there are other cruise lines that have "special" areas for these "special" people. There is even a ship being built as we speak that will have "classes" and the "classes" will NOT mix. Sail on them if you cannot stand to be around regular people. Oh wait, Platinum and Diamond card holders put their pants on one leg at a time too? The horror!!

Seriously, if you are going to complain about every little thing while you are on VACATION, please do not come near me. I personally go on vacation to get away from all that junk!:)

  5. You should investigate the insurance policies, as many do not cover pre-existing conditions unless you buy at the time you book the cruise. If you have booked a while ago, but are just now making final payment and taking the insurance, it may not cover pre-existing, so you should check that out. Certainly, its easier to book with carnival, but you will save money and have more options of coverage going through a 3rd party insurance carrier.

YES! You never PLAN for something to happen. You may want to think about buying it at the time of booking next time. Depending on the company, you get some automatic upgrades to your policy such as a Pre-existing Condition Waiver. Have FUN!!!
