Sorry if this is posted elsewhere, but was wondering if any of the cardio equipment on RCI Independence of the Seas have pulse monitors?
Thanks for any info.

Ok, so what is so good about the T Pool?
It's the best, salt-water jetted pool. Very relaxing, and worth every cent if there is a charge on the ship you're sailing.
The experience is so much more than a regular jacuzzi type tub. Absolutely, no comparison. Very powerful jets. Usually has loungers to relax on in the water.
To experience a Thalassotherapy pool is to love one!

Hey all! I had to chime in since Freedom is my absolute favorite ship (well so far)

I have all kinds of pics from Freedom. We stayed in GS 1298 if anyone needs pics of that.
Thanks for the pics.
Can you tell me, were there any noise issues in GS 1298? Have read that it can be a problem in some of the rooms below the pool area, etc.
Thanks,

Anyone know of any current cruise ships that have the equivelent of the X Mercury T-Pool?
May sound crazy to those who haven't tried them, but they are fantastic!
Last ship I was on that had a wonderful T-Pool was the X Mercury.
Thanks,

Glad the info I gave was of some help.
Thanks for the info on the Independence.
Was on the Jewel OTS, and the Thermal Suite was really not worth the charge, unless you like laying on warm tile lounges. I tried it, but actually found them not all that comfortable.

We were on the Azamara Journey in December 2008. the spa facillities were pretty limited. A steam room that seated approx 7-8, although I rarely saw anyone in there. 2 "rain" style showeres. This all in the men's locker room area. The thalassotherapy pool was outside and co-ed. This was a major disappointment. Was refilled daily and only above lukewarm on 2 or 3 days out of 15 days.

almost forgot: Only charges were for use of the thalassotherapy pool and seating area outside there, the rest were no charge.

That's what happened to us on our first cruise. Had reserved a Sky Suite on Celebity Mercury to Mexican Riviera, and asked about an upgrade. We were upgraded to one of the 2 Penthouse Suites, for a small upcharge. Needless to say, we saw very little outside of our suite on that cruise! And they knew what they were doing, on all the cruises on X and RCI since have booked suites.
