We booked a driving tour with Chris of Chris tours and taxi's. He had a big van with plenty of space. We were only in Grenada a short time, so we could not do much, but he took us up to the rainforest and waterfalls in the Shate Roke National Park. He was very knowledgeable about the history of the island as well as the plants, there were so many flowers! We wanted to go to the underwater sculptures, but didn't realize that a boat was required to get there. I would highly recommend Chris tours. We had a great time.

We got a private tour from Island Man tours. Kurt was excellent. I'd highly recommend not driving yourself because they drive on the left, roads are narrow and very curvy in the mountains. Kurt was a very careful driver. He took us into the rainforest and to the Pitons, to the beach and to the chocolate factory. He was extremely knowledgeable about the island and the ecosystem. He was very friendly and went out of his way to make us comfortable. We had a great time.

We rented a jeep from Jay's Car Rental. They met us at the peer and pointed us toward a parking lot a short walk away. We waited a few minutes for the attendant to finish with 2 other renters. He asked if we wanted an open or closed jeep. We chose open, which was really fun, but a bit hot. We drove to the Aloe factory, the Natural Bridge, the Donkey Sanctuary, the Lighthouse and to see the flamingo's in the wild. The jeep was older, but we didn't have any mechanical problems. We got it full and returned it full of gas. We used our phone for navigation and got around fine. The return was super easy. We did pay for the extra insurance just to make sure we wouldn't have any problems.

We used Advance on our southern Caribbean cruise and it could have not been easier. Celestino met us at the port and provided a GPS and phone at the time of rental. Everything was programed in the GPS and we had no issues driving in Curacao. We were able to swim with the turtles and were able to go to other beaches we chose to visit. The rental return was very easy and without delay we were back on the ship. We wish it was this easy at all our ports.
