Thanks for the review! Can't wait for our January sailing! The only thing I worry about is the odd bathroom setup! I am a very early riser and like to "get ready" for the day while my husband sleeps in. Can't imagine washing my face, getting dressed, etc without waking him! Did you find this a challenge?

Hi, I am looking for the hours for the thermal spa on Epic. I would love to take advantage of the spa very early in the mornings (maybe 6:30-7 am). I thought I saw the spa does not open until 8am. Appreciate any insight!

Our sailing is at 9pm. The latest "Sail away" I have ever had. Do you think the starting boarding time will still be around 11?

Thanks for the great responses! I was hoping for a mini coffee maker that uses ground coffee but looks like that is a no go I might just try a french press or aeropress. Cruise ship coffee is so notoriously awful!

I just love my morning cup of joe! I saw that we have a coffee maker in our balcony room. How is the coffee provided? Could I bring some of my own ground and prepare it in the room? Silly question but I am so used to my Dunkin Donuts coffee! do they provide filters?

We are thinking about booking the Gem, Boston to Bermuda this summer. We will be taking our 18 year old son who has not cruised without a Kid's Club within his age group. Does anyone have experience with this in-between stage of cruising? He loves RCCL for the wave rider and would love for him to have activities to help him meet other kids his age.

Any thoughts you could share would be greatly appreciated!

Can we access the internet without purchasing VOOM? We used to buy "internet minutes" and had access to a public computer. I doubt I will need much internet but would like a backup plan.

Also, how reliable is the texting?

We are coming in late the night before our March cruise. I was contemplating getting a car rental at the Fort Lauderdale airport and then returning it close to Port Everglades the next day. I just want to have the convenience of a car so we can pick up our pre-cruise wine and have freedom to choose a late night restaurant after traveling down that first day. Any suggestions for a convenient car rental agency and thoughts on doing this?

After looking a little closer at Coki, I am a bit hesitant. It looks pretty crowded. Now I am leaning more toward Emerald Beach. The resort there looks nice and seems it would be a bit less crowded. Looks like a great little beach bar at the Best Western and I found the ski rentals at jetskivi.com. Thanks again!
