Hi everyone! Our cruise has a stop in Weymouth, England. Some friends of mine who live in England are planning on meeting us there and spending the day. I have no idea where to tell them they can meet up with us. Can someone familiar with that port suggest a good meeting place for us to meet someone ashore? Thanks so much for any help you can provide!

On Rotterdam in October. When I go to the various venues to make reservations the Canaletto doesn’t have any place to make a reservation while all the others do. Does anyone know if that’s gonna change anytime soon?
-
CO doesn't take reservations as far as I know.

Simply put I can’t do anything on the site past login. Then, everything is a “bad request.” Departing in three weeks….

My very fav app there is the cold smoked salmon.

Hopefully it is personal preference. A friend of mine is one of the most seasoned servers in the city. He has worked in fine dining venues for years. His choice is to take orders with paper and pencil because he has his own system.

Self disembark and you’ll be okay.

You will be there in plenty of time.

Wow thanks for that info…my packing will be revolutionized going forward!

Wow, that really sounds terrific. I don’t like to put my things in the dryer either. Could someone explain how you go about telling them to air dry? You just write it in the comments? And how long does it take to get those things returned? I get free laundry, and my partner uses it like crazy but I always hesitate being afraid my clothes are going to be beat up and shrunk. This would make a world of difference for me, as I am going on longer cruises in the next year.

The only reason I’d do the NA over the Noordam is because the NA has the Tamarind. Other than that I’d choose by itinerary,

Ooh! I’ve had 6113 on the NA…it’s great… on the bend. Big balcony, part facing forward. And that extra space inside is good to put the table in leaving more room in the cabin. Great suite!

Nope just off Rotterdam with SPB the Cosmo was an additional $1.18. Previous cruises it was always covered. Did not call a vodka.
-
What’s funny is cosmos used to be covered by SBP.

Have an October 7 booking on Rotterdam. Canaletto is not shown as a dining option.

Never stayed on deck five but several times on deck six in a signature. The only comment I could make that’s worthwhile is I love the ones on the bump… you get a little extra room in the interior and you could move the little cocktail table over there, and it makes the room a little “roomier.” And I liked the bump out balconies. Otherwise, I don’t know anything about the ones on deck five.

I have enjoyed everything I’ve had in the tamarind. I love the tempura shrimp appetizer

We are suppose to be on the Rotterdam Weds as well. We live just south of Cocoa in FL so no airplane to worry about just the 3.5hr drive. Looked at Port Everglades schedule and Eurodam and Rotterdam one no longer on it. First cruise ship (Celebrity) is on the schedule for the 11th as of 10am today.
They are both still on the Port Everglades app.

Well if history repeats, our “dressy” or whatever nights will be second sea day in the beginning, and last sea day, two days prior to end. That’s fairly standard.

I’m on an 11 day southern Caribbean cruise next week and on my itinerary in the Navigator app for every night it says dress is smart casual. Does anyone know if they are doing away with gala nights, or is the Navigator app wrong?

In both the Tamarind and the Pinnacle I sometimes enjoy a couple appetizers and don’t have an entrée. That would be ridiculous being charged when I’m not having the more expensive portion of the meal. I will be very mad if I am unable to do that because sometimes the whole meal is just too much food. And I really enjoy many of the appetizers.

Is it possible to use a thumb drive on the TVs on the Rotterdam?

It is Portland. And thank you for your info. Is the castle where all shuttles from the ship go? Or are there alternate places. They will be coming by car.
