Thank you for the quick replies!
I didn't realize there was a nursery option. Are the hours limited? I would probably only need day care during the shows so I bet those times book fast!

Hello everyone!
I am planning my first RCI cruise and my first cruise ever with a toddler. I'll be traveling with my daughter and granddaughter. I'm curious about activities/dining venues, etc. that would be good or possibly something's to definitely avoid. The baby is only two months old now so it's tough to tell what her temperament will be like in 18 months. I'm assuming that she's too young for children's programs so any tips or info on in-room day care would be appreciated!
TIA,
Allie

**How about when you go to CC's review section and copy and paste over 100 previous reviews into Word just to save them as an ePub file to read on my Nook.
**How about when you collect countdown apps and annoy your cruise buddies with countdown posts. AND strive to capture silly numbers on those screenshots like my recent one two weeks ago with 4-3-2-1 numbers
And as I type this I'm wearing my got fun? Carnival tshirt!

I don't know about the guy with the two cards, but the lady and her mom who found out after the fact "implied" that someone at Carnival was to blame (because that Carnival credit card was ONLY used for cruise fare and onboard account... Who else could it have been?!?) so that's why they were not too helpful. The funny thing was, the "purchaser" bought airline tickets with the stolen card #... Wonder if they made their flight??

Just a little FYI... We had a large group on the Legend last August and three people in our party had issues with unauthorized charges. Two people didn't find out until they got home. (One was a Carnival credit card and the other (her mom) was her debit card. The third person's credit card company issued a fraud alert in the third day of the cruise and then after using a second card to secure the account, that one also had unauthorized activity (at Walmart in Tampa WHILE the guy was on the cruise.) It was too much of a coincidence to me. Everything has been resolved now, but Carnival was NO help in resolving the issue.
.
I can't afford a large hold on my checking account (my bank drags them out) so I use cash only.

I just found this thread so I will spend the next few weeks going over the 100+ pages :) I'm considering the Carnival Breeze in August and I'm leaving DD at home and its going to be my time to brush up on my photography skills. Saving for a dSLR :) for this cruise. I had an old Canon Elan back in the film days but now I'm looking into HDR photography... Not the surreal, just "enhanced" :) Here's a pix I took with my iPhone that I really like (would have been better with "real" camera tho.

I'm going to be there a week from today! I'm going with a group of about 12 others. Can't wait!! I'll post some pix when I return!

I found this thread on Monday and now me and my daughter and 6 more friends from our group are going! They appear to have raised prices and dropped the "day pass". It's a short day in port for us but we are hoping for a good 4-5 hours on that little slice of paradise!

Below is a link to a t-shirt design I created for a cruise with my now ex-BF. The cruise was cancelled, but I am going to replace his pic with an illustration of my daughter for our next cruise. I plan on having zazzle print them. They have great quality printing & apparel.

While we were at San Juan in May 2007, the restrooms inside El Morro were under construction. Down the hill from the fort was a make-shift gift shop with bathroom facilities... It was clearly posted that it was a PAY toilet...
The sign says:
Quarters Only Please
Ask cashier for change
25 cents ea. user
While 5 people waited in line for change, my DD & I snuck in (with a group of 10 or 12) No slots on the commodes, so we were good!

Thanks for the link PompeySailor. That helped a lot. We'll have to check out the show schedules once we get closer to the cruise and plan it all out.
