That’s not good as we’ll be in an AQ cabin on the Eclipse. But at least we’ve already upgraded to the Premium internet package, like you, to get the increased speed. Here’s an Ookla speed test link I always use on my iPad when on a cruise to give me some feel for the upload and download speeds relative to where I’m at on the ship.

    https://www.speedtest.net/

Unfortunately, if you run it on a iPhone, you’ll only get the download speed. But still, it helps me identify where the better reception might be in the cabin or, if necessary, around the ship.

For example, I usually like to post to my Live From thread while out on the balcony watching for wildlife! 😁 I’ve only had issues so far on the Edge when our SS balcony door was completely closed to keep the AC running in the cabin for the DW. However, no issues when I was on the Apex in a sunset veranda with the balcony door closed.

It will be interesting to hear what you experience will be on the Beyond.

Ken if you run the Ookla speed test app it gives up and download speeds on iPhone.

If I might ask then. If the transatlantic/transpacific "monitored" testing rules have been in place for awhile, does Celebrity provide complimentary tests prior to transition day if you're on a B2B with the TA/TP cruise being the second leg?

    Typical Celebrity with confusing requirements

All guests ages 2 and older must present a digital or physical copy of a supervised, negative COVID-19 test result at check-in to board their sailing.

Guests must present a negative antigen test result taken within 2 days prior to sailing and no more than 2 days before their sailing.

Accepted tests are PCR or antigen tests taken in person, supervised virtually, or unsupervised self-administered. Proof of a negative test can be the printed or digital results, a clear photo of your self-test result, or your actual self-test in hand.

We recently sailed on Celebrity’s Solstice with a 2 level main dining room & found it to be nosier on the lower level that was open to the upper level and it was more difficult to carry on a conversation.

I find it interesting that on the new E class Celebrity ships they have gone away from the multi story main dining room to 4 smaller one floor dining rooms and yet Princess is going in the opposite direction.
