I have sailed on both Breakaway and Getaway and I have no clue what your talking about. I have not experienced any rolling. I was up in Haven suites both times. Sound like post from someone that just doesn't like NCL.

I do it all the time. No problem.

But a TRUE Chefs table is a menu a chef will design and prepare using product that is in season and fresh as possible. The one on NCL (I cant comment for other lines) is actually a gourmet dinner (IMHO). I say this because I am a self proclaimed food snob living in New Orleans and have been to many Chefs tables down here.
-
I know the Chefs table is in multiple locations on the board.
I have done the Chefs table on Star, Breakaway, and Getaway.
I just got off the Dawn yesterday. The menu has not changed since NCL started the Chefs table 3 years ago.

I just got off the Dawn this morning. I was told that lobster was removed due to the extremely high price.

Surprised to hear there was poor service in LeBistro. I usually find the food and service to be very good. Have not been a big fan of Cagney's since the menu overhaul.

I do not like any of the insurance programs offered by NCL or most cruise lines. The previous poster had a good one. I use
travelexinsurance.com
I had a stroke a few years while traveling to Rome for a 12 night cruise. My stroke was precruise. Spent 7 nights a Rome hospital. I had $0.00 out of pocket. And I still went on the cruise.

I have been on both Breakaway and Getaway. You absolutely nothing to be scared of except figuring which restaurants to eat in.
If you are staying in the Haven, you have a restaurant to dine in that is only available to Haven guest.

Do you guys think it's worth the $600 difference for the Getaway
Looking at where Getaway is going. Not really. However Getaway is one of those shops that you don't need to get off to have a great time.

Nope. Third adult gets soft drinks. You can upgrade the package.
If you booked through NCL, call them and beat them to get what you want.

Getaway has more to offer than Epic. Epic offers more than Jewel. That being said, I have done all the ships and been to all the ports listed. I would do the Jewel. Three decent ports and a very relaxing ship (Jewel).

Which ship is Sean and the gang on? Still Getaway? I assume he will wind up on Escape.

I did not care for it. I really think they could have done better.
If I had actually bought tickets, I would have killed my wife for dragging me to a show this bad .

The port where you got off the Dawn is the same port used by Carnival. The second by NCL. From time to time you will have a cruise ship stopping in New Orleans (IADA, MSC, etc) down river. But is not a full "Cruise Port".

We actually enjoyed the show on Getaway. The food wasn't great, but the show was. I recommend it.

I think the special ends very soon.

Would it be poor planning to book reservations at 6 if a show starts at 7?
Would 1 hour be enough time?
1 hour is not enough. The specialty restaurants Re like good restaurants at home. I would budget 2-2.5 hours. Especially in LeBistro and Cagneys. Molderno you can do in an hour but I personally don't like to rush dinner. Either see a later show or get a dinner reservation for after the show.

Done Epic, Breakaway, Getaway and numerous NCL ships. Also done numerous Royal ships.
I prefer NCL. Much better onboard experience and I think you get more bang for your buck.

And there are no suites on Escape......or that would have been a great deal. Haven is a little too far out of my reach. I was told the mini-suites don't count
Do you mean all the Suites are sold out. The Suites are in the Haven. We opted for a spa mini suite on Escape. Told DW we would have to cruise less to get another Haven suite.

The special gives OBC, Drink package, and unlimited dining package for those purchase suites. If you book a balcony, you get to pick one. We opt for drink package.

B2B Cruising
in Norwegian Cruise Line
Posted
We did a back to back cruise on the Pearl a few years ago. We had the same cabin for both cruises. As I recall we had to disembark for a few hours and got back on. We did not have to go through the embarkation process since we had sea passes and were told to bypass the line to go directly onboard.
