Traveling in November with our grandchild (sex ?) whose ETA is 10/4/14. We already have plans to get a passport. Get a passport it makes great memories down the road.
I think the age has to be at least 6 months.

Im so stressed over this omg lol its not like me but I am lol. I also worry that my elderly father in law is in this room and the shower will run all in the bathroom and he could slip and fall, boy, didn't think going away be stressful (trying to smile)
Greg204- I paid for the FTTF and if we get kicked out of our room because its needed (which I understand) our room won't be ready so it be a complete waste of money as we were planning on bringing our luggage on board and right into the cabin.
Thank you everybody...I am hoping like most of you said that if I wasn't changed by now it be all ok.
If the bathroom is large doesn't that mean the room is smaller?
I really need this trip just to get mentally strong again and just air out and relax. I thank you so very much for your caring and concern..and ShadyLady I am better but not all well but better (I take it lol) thank you for your kindness....you all are great and you all made me feel better now.
If they were to move you, which this close to sailing is highly unlikely, your new cabin will be ready because you purchased FTTF.

I had cabin 6445 in November, I did not hear any noise.

I'm considering taking a solo cruise in a couple of weeks. I've never done this before, but the price is right and it sound relaxing. My husband thinks that solo cruising is weird and thinks no one does it. Honestly, I would be content sitting on deck with a book. Plus, the cruise goes to HMC, which is a huge perk, IMO. Has anyone here done solo cruising with Carnival? Any advice about solo cruising?
I've been on 12 cruises and 6 of them were solo and I loved every minute of it, I can do what I want when I want, I've met a lot of nice people either from joining a roll call or from a group on the social site that can't be mentioned here, I say go and have fun.

I am thinking about booking the San Juan one, I've been to Grand Turk twice and Dominica once but never to St.Croix,Grenada and Martinique, it would be nice to visit some new ports.

Let's see, you get on before the FTTF group so unless you walk really slow and the FTTF people sprinted I don't see how you could get trampled :) Heck, before FTTF you would have been trampled by that pesky first boarding group that went on after you .
Those that purchase it don't get a t-shirt that says haha I paid for FTTF and you didn't. At least I didn't see where they sold it, so there might be one.
I am really upset now that I would have to pay for FTTF to get the perks but I don't get laundry or BOGO slots....not fair
I guess you are also upset that those silly people who get suites get to board early too...dang them. Wait! They board the suites after you go....they must have trampled you on the way on the ship, sorry about that it might have been me.
Actually suites board with plats and diamonds,at least they did when I had a suite last August on The Freedom.

Just came back from my 3rd premier cruise on the 14th, hoping to get on another one in the near future.

I don't spend oodles of money in the casino, typically I bring enough for $50 a day in the casino, I've gotten casino offers and one offer for a free cabin but all the sailings were in June and I couldn't take advantage of the offer, I've read where people have spent a few thousand and have never gotten any offers.
-
I was on The Freedom december 9-14 and had ATD I ate in th MDR 3 times and I never had a 2 1/2 hour dinner.
-
In 12 cruises I've never was pulled to the side, on my most recent cruise I came home with 10 bottles of alcohol and 4 cartons of cigs, in August I had 8 cartons and maybe 10-12 bottles of booze.
-
I've gotten offers for premier casino cruises ( just got off my 3rd premier sailing yesterday) also once this year I got a free cabin offer for 5 or 6 different sailings but they all were in June so I couldn't take advantage of the offer.

Some people do not have the option of flying in a day or two before.

No thanks. When we cruise in the winter like 7 days of warmth.
Me too, I come in from Boston and I like to change into my shorts and flip flops as soon as I can.

5:30-9:30 if I remember correctly and you can ask to be seated at a table for two if you prefer, I've sailed on her twice, once with my granddaughter and once solo and both times have requested a small table with no problem.

I'm dancing with you, just got to get through the weekend and I'll be boarding The Freedom on Monday:D
-
My first platinum cruise was last month on The Breeze, I got the Tervis cup around the third day, I am on The Freedom Monday so we will see.
-
I use the little coffee mate flavored creamers also.
-
I'm dancing with ya:D 4 days until my Freedom cruise, enjoy your cruise, I was just on The Breeze November 9-17, loved it.
-
Congrats on turning platinum, I just turned platinum on my November 9th cruise.

I'm booked in a 4J cabin on the Panorama deck, first time being so high up, I originally had an inside on deck 1, but was able to upgrade for $30, this was one of the sailings with 0 single supplement so I got a killer deal on the cruise, even with the upgrade, 7 more days til Freedom:D
-
I ordered Bon a Voyage decorations when I cruised with my granddaughter in August and they were up when I got to my cabin.

It somewhat bothered me at first, but as platinum on our last cruise we were onboard in 15 minutes, and did not need to spend the $50. Also ,as platinum, I really like the separate line at guest services, which FTTF does not have..So now the FTTF does not bother me anymore, as there are not that many on each sailing anyway...
Actually FTTF does use the same line at guest services as platinum and diamond.
Confused??? Price dropped and Carnival said it can't do anything about it

I have been on 12 cruises,11 on Carnival and I've never heard of final payment due 30 prior, to my knowledge it's always been at least 60 days and if you booked with a TA Carnival will not deal with you, that's why I always book myself directly with Carnival, that way I have control over my booking and do not have to go through a middle man.
