    Ooooh, thanks!  Thank sounds wonderful!!!

How did you manage that steal?!  Was it a quick glitch in the system? lol

I am taking a wild guess you are from Allentown?  Not a long drive from me, I am in Flemington, NJ.

Do you happen to be a fan of the group 'Straight No Chaser'?!  I am a BIG fan & my favorite singer, Jerome, was born & raised in Allentown.  lol  Been to several of their concerts!  Anyway, going off topic.  lol

Yes I am. I have heard of the group but am not really sure I have heard them to be honest.

I'm sorry that I lost track of you on the Anthem, and so sorry to hear about Mom's hospitalization.

Fortunately, it will be easier to stay in touch on Baby Empress.  😄

No worries. You are a very busy and popular woman. And you know everyone. Hopefully we can connect on the baby of the fleet, maybe even grab a meal.

My mom is doing much better and I am hoping she stays that way. Thanks

  3. I am accustomed to using wifi calling to stay in touch with my 93 year old mother. On Anthem I was able to do this with Surf only ( I am not trying to face time, just make calls). On Grandeur Surf was not adequate and I had to upgrade to surf and stream. I previously purchased Surf only for an upcoming Empress cruise for an excellent price. Do I need to upgrade to Surf and Stream on Empress ( rates are no longer a bargain and this close to sailing probably will not be, though still cheaper than on board).

    Thanks for your help.

Me and my two daughters will be going to Divi Little Bay resort mid Feb.  Will this be a safe area? We have it booked through an independent tour company. I haven't paid yet and can cancel up to two days before. We'll have to take a taxi over there.

    Thank you in advance.☺️

It is extremely safe and there is no need to book it through an independent tour company. Just head over and rent chairs and umbrella.

Due to the earthquakes that have struck, mainly the southwest part of the island, it was just announced that the festival will indeed start on Thursday, Jan. 16. There will be much heavier than usual traffic during they day and it will be nearly impossible to reach SJ in a private car after 5pm. Uber, Taxis and public buses will have a dedicated lane access and out of Old SJ so those would be THE best ways to reach the festivities. Public buses aside (simply don't count on them!), Uber and Taxis should be readily available, although you might have to wait a few more minutes than usual.

Is the festival mostly on the streets up near the forts or will there be crafts or music on the streets right near the pier in Old San Juan? And will it be super crowded there as well? Due to bad knees I seldom make it all the way up to the Fort area. Thanks

We use this to help manage and be more 'compliant'.  Plus, it saves on packing...

Or search this on AMAZON:  Outlet Splitter USB Wall Tap, ETL Listed, TROND Cruise Power Strip Multi Plug Outlet Extender with 2 USB Ports

How does this make you more compliant. I am not tech savvy enough to understand. Are you saying with this it is okay to leave things plugged in?

Actually at times it can be quite rough. We saw a guy wipe out and break his nose and be carted away on an ambulance. Agree January is tough in Antigua.
