Do you think there will be a 4 th of July sale? Has there been 4 th of July sales in the past?

Don’t know if this would matter to you but if you wait until July 4, you will miss out on C&A double points.  I am sure they will have a sale that they call the 4th of July sale but they have sales all the time and usually there is not much difference in them.

    Double Points = Book by June 30, 2021 = Sail by Sept 30, 2022

If it departs Sept 30 2022 and ends Oct 7 2022 is it eligible for double points.   I ask because different places on RC read differently.  Sail by sept 30.  sailing through sept 30. Etc

Many people commenting on higher prices at next cruise.  It really doesn’t matter if you are before final payment.  Call Royal and have them adjust the price just like you would for a price drop.  One cruise I didn’t even wait until we returned to the US, I had an international plan and called from one of the islands and got the lower price.

While prices should be the same on board as they are on the website it’s really not a big deal if they aren’t.

We have called and had them reduce our price before but I don’t think we ever had OBC when we had it adjusted.  Does OBC make a difference on adjustments?

  4. Wow. The more I am reading the more I ask myself why I never thought about this before.  Also sounding like more than I expected are doing back to back.  I am learning a lot of good stuff.  I didn’t even think of needing a new sea pass.  This certainly sounds like something I may get addicted to doing.  Sounds like RC goes out of the way to make it as smooth and enjoyable as possible.

Wow , those are going to be some expensive ice cream cones? Might be better options for you then booking cruises?  LOL

Have you tried the ice cream down by the pool.  So good.  Might be the sea air all around it.  It’s the only reason I cruise! Ben and Jerry’s is an option but it is inside.  Maybe I will get a B&J next time and carry it out to the pool.  Then I can see if the sea air has the sam effect on all ice cream.

You will love doing a b2b.  If not in same cabin, no problem.  Room steward will bring a cart to your cabin and remove everything hanging up onto the cart and you pack up anything in drawers, bathroom etc and they simply take your luggage to your next cabin.

One time My Dh joked he will put his underwear and docks on hangers so he didnt have to repack them.  They thought he was serious and bought him a bunch of extra hangers to do that.

Lol, that’s funny and sounds like something I would of said!

  7. I have never done b2b cruises but I am considering one now.  I understand all things can change these days but based on the past, when booking b2b do you have to book the same room?  Am I assuming wrong that you don’t have to get off and back on between cruises ?  If you don’t have to have the same room, how does your luggage get to the second room? Do you just set your bags outside the room and they take care of it from there?  Is there anything else I need to know about?

  8. Is this something new?  If so how long have they been on RC site.  I was checking out rooms on Independence.  When I was checking out the suites I noticed a button that said view virtual tour.  Clicked on it and it was a 360 camera tour of the suite.  For the balconies they only had Spacious Ocean View Balcony virtual tour.  Looked on Harmony but did not see any.
