For anyone who has done an MSC B2B, do you get an invoice after each cruise or just one at the end in total?
I'm talking about on the Meraviglia if it makes a difference.
thanks

With the $50 credit excursion prices went up too, hard to find at that price

if you have the $50 excursion credit, sign up (once onboard) for excursions that cost $50 or less. The cost of the excursion will be taken from your non-refundable OBC. When the credit is returned to you after the excursion (you don't actually have to go on the excursion if you don't want to), it will be returned at refundable OBC. Once it has been "converted", you can then use it for the casino, DSC, or buying cruise next certs if you want. Since I don't make any charges onboard, I just cash out the refundable OBC.
I have been doing this also. You don't have to go on excursion but I have been present to give the vendor the ticket, the ticket has your name printed on it (the vendor doesn't care if you go, he still gets reimbursed for the ticket), just to be sure.
PS-I believe this only works when booking excursion onboard. If you book online it becomes more messy. They have to cancel and reissue ticket.
Also figure out your latitudes discount in the equation, and even if excursion costs more than $50 it still takes the $50 out of the N/R obc and returns it as refundable

Your question about what is considered day 1, I’m guessing, is in reference to non US sailings where there are two multiple embarkation ports.
No. Day 1 could be interpreted to be the day you get on ship. It could also be the first full day of sail, as when you read a ship itinerary it lists the day after embarkation as day 1.
I'll ask questions on board and figure it out.

You didn't answer the questions.
Is it a chargeback or OBC.?
What do they consider 1st day of cruise?
Thanks
-
MSC says that you get back $10 for every $50 you spend.
1) is that a chargeback or Non ref credit?
2) Only applicable to day 1. What do they consider day 1, embarkation day or first full day at sea?
3) Do you have to keep a close eye on this or its automatic?

Thanks. I'll take a look.

Hi, does anyone know if I can leave luggage anywhere for an hour or two at BCT upon disembarkation? What would happen if I just left it there for awhile? Have to do some things while in Brooklyn and would rather not drag luggage around . Thanks

Thanks for all the info.
As I said my senior discount was approved within an hour and I did a mock ticket purchase, $1.35

You can't just walk up to the dock and purchase a $1.35 senior citizen ticket. You have to fill out an application and get approved for the discounted fare. Per their instructions you have to allow 30 days for the application to be approved:
I did it online yesterday first thing in the AM. Within 1 hour they had my account adjusted for senior. Could not believe the speed it was done.
I think that you can show up at pier 11 and get approved also.

If you're local let me ask you this.
I'll be arriving at Port Authority terminal, pretty sure I can walk down into the bowels of the terminal and take long confusing walk and up/down stairs.
Would it be better for me to just exit terminal and walk 42 st to 3 train entrance?

So the NYC ferry and IKEA ferry use 2 different terminals?
The hornblower is the ferry I need, sounds ideal.
Ferry price w/senior discount, 1.35 thanks 😁 number 3 to wall st and walk over

Hi, some questions re:ferry.
I know Ikea has a free weekend ferry to red hook. Does this ferry drop off close to ported ship at BCT? What/where are the stops in Manhattan?
NYC ferries run during the week and stop at red hook. Do they use same terminal as Ikea, if not, is that stop within walking distance? Where can you catch NYC ferry to Red hook from Manhattan, I know pier 11 at seaport , any other stops, west side maybe? Does anyone forsee any problems or it is a workable solution?
Thanks

Sometimes when the fares drop you can pay the difference to get a better cabin. So that balcony that was $2k more when you booked might be yours for $200 if you ask.
You are too late to ask for future credit if you leave in 4 days.
Ok

No obc, just future credit or pay to upgrade
Are you saying possible future credit, I would take that .
Pay to upgrade?

Hi all, the price of my cruise dropped just a few bucks, leaving in 4 days. Does NCL have a $ threshold where they will not reimburse with OBC? Thanks

Yes, the coupons and credits are displayed under "Coupons and Credits" under our NCL accounts, but it seems that for people using non-American currencies, we do not have the ability to apply them to bookings ourselves on the NCL website. It simply does not give us that option on the payments page.
ok,

you can simply click on my account and coupons and credits are displayed

Just saw Island Princess out of Bklyn on June 4, 10 days r/t. Very odd itinerary, think they are calling it a Heritage tour or something. Very little solo sup. I/s $484, taxes and fees are a bit high at nearly $400.
