Just letting you all know that I started a roll call for the inaugural TA for the Celebration. They just opened roll calls for this ship!

And, sorry I didn't answer xDisconnections before this about the natural gas. It is as Earthworm Jim has stated about the environment mostly, but also to elaborate that natural gas is very clean energy and I have a a fascination as to how they make it all work. Talked about this quite a bit on 2 cruises with a rep of Carnival who explained it a bit in talks on board. Anyway I think it is very cool! LOL !!  😜  Geek out!

Yes, I booked it. I was so disappointed when the Mardis Gras cancelled the original inaugural and TA. That was like 3 cancellations ago now! I have wanted to see these new Carnival ships that have a new design and powered by natural gas. But the cruises in the states are so short & blah! So, I booked this long TA even though the ports aren't that great. We will see..still a long way off!

Do you have anything booked for 2021? I have a few, but again, we will see what happens!

There's no telling for sure, but the Breakaway shows did not change during its recent dry dock so it's doubtful the Getaway shows would either. The cirque show is still relatively new and the main show has already been changed out once.

Does anyone know if the entertainment on the Getaway or any of the ships will change for 2019? I am booked on the Getaway in October, 2019 and since I have sailed her before and seen the current shows if they would be different for 2019.

My friend Carolyn and I are doing the Baltics capitals tour on the Getaway, then travel probably by car for the next week and then the Getaway TA. That is the plan so far. I know the Getaway TA is pretty bare bones for ports (which we have been to many times!) but we figured it would be good R&R after the Baltics schedule. Also, I did the Epic TA a few years ago and there were so many things to do on ship and such great entertainment compared to Carnival I do not think we will be bored! And bunches of people we know! Should be fun!

Anne, if you go to NCL website and look under ships, Epic, then staterooms you will see picture of an aft balcony, diagram and description and it says the bed can be two twins or put together as a queen.
