Can you make reservations for YTD or is it still show up and wait?
Thanks.

I am sure ill get to that level... Im just trying to think if id drink enough to make it worth it
Don't know what you drink but I just got off the Explorer and one Martini w/ tax was $13.
-
They are very accomodating, just got off the Explorer, they couldn't have provided better service. Fun to try new foods, but don't be greedy about it. :)
-
The drink prices are about as consistent as most other things relating to RCI :D
YUP and pricey as all the ships. 2 vodka martinis w/ tax last night on the Explorer $25.96.
I noticed in the MDR they did not charge a corkage fee for our tablemates and their wine. I couldn't believe it!

If its before final payment yes if after final payment dont expect anything from rcl
The other lines do the same thing. I am okay w/ that. Thanks.

If the price drops after booking, if the money applied to OBC?
-
Orlando airport is 45 miles from the port though, however there are shuttles that make it painless to get there.
-
We just got off of the Explorer, she is going into dry dock, then her distination is Australia. Not sure when though. We were told that by the Cruise Dir.
-
Reading mixed reviews on the food in the dining room on the Explorer. I am an easy to please person and like most foods, and I know some people really bash cruise food.
Any input would be appreciated.
Sailing Feb. 21, 2015.
Thanks, Joybaby

Thanks to all caring travellers that responded.
Sending love and light to all of you.

Royal Caribbean docks at the International Pier. :)
Thanks, anything exciting to do at that port?

Sailing on the Explorer Feb. 21. What pier does RCCL dock at?
We love Puerto Maya (Carnival uses that) since it has Pancho's Back Yard.:)
Thanks in Advance!

I recently sailed on the Divina and loved her. I did not get my tags, documents until I contacted them via Facebook. I got them within 15 mins. Prior to that I could not get them, my TA tried, I tried, so contact FB.

Divina -no question.

just sailed the Divina and loved it. I have also dialed on 2 of their other ships. Shows are outstanding as well as the atrium. Give it a try.
Holland cruise lines fold up at 10 pm, and I am a senior but it is too quiet for us.

Joybaby, the schedule shows a Gary Brierley.
Thanks, he is new to me.

Does anyone know the CD for the Dec. 6 Liberty cruise?
Thanks in advance.

Going to have to disagree with this observation, I have been on both cruise lines, so it's easy to do so. MSC does a very good job at keeping the smokers in the smoking section, there is a LARGE smoking room right outside the casino as the Casino is NO SMOKING all the time.
No smoking on balconies also, which is a huge plus for me. I was not bothered by smoke on the Divina. More smokers on the Opera (2007) and Poesia ( 2011) but I bet that would be changed in they were in the N. Amer. market now.

Op, we have sailed on 6 different cruise lines. We did the Divina in September - our first trip withvMSC. We spoke with many people who frequently sail on MSC and one opinion was universal: the experience on Divina is different than other MSC ships.
The Divina is the only ship that has English as their official language. The only one that offers free water in the MDR. The only one that has attempted to adjust its food and service to what they believe the North American public wants.
We very much enjoyed the Divina, but I believe it is not comparable to other MSC ships.
MSC ships will speak the lang. in which they sail from. Also the same re. serving water. We have sailed the Opera and the Poesia from Fort Laud. and the sailings were like the Divina. It all changes when a ship sails from a foreign port.

Love the reviews. I was on the Divina in Sept. and ret. for the Bermuda cruise. Great photos.

We are looking into cruises in 2016-2017 for our blended family of 7. 4 adults and 3 children 5, 13 and 15. Is dinning at set times? Can we request to share a table? My husband and his ex wife have never been to Europe so we are considering those itineraries. Is there enough to do that my stepchildren can have time with each of their families without us constantly being on top of each other?

Dinner at 6 and 8:45. You can request a table, see the maître d' when you arrive. If it in America there will be some English speaking kids, but if it is Europe there will not be as many. All announcements of importance will be in 5 languages, but the occasional announcements will be in the lang. of the country it is departing from.
The little will be fine in camp, but unless your kids are adventuresome and/or self contained, it will be a harder for the teens during the day.
They do have trivia and some other challenging games for people during the day.
Shows at nighttime will be the highlight for them. They are fabulous.

Thanks for the photos. We are in 11101 on the Bermuda voyage. We also love MSC and were on the Divina in Sept. Have also sailed the Poesia and Opera in the Carib. The Poesia is my personal favorite.

Hi, just been having yet one more problem with customer service in the UK. I think stinks is an under estimation. Less than a week to our cruise I can't get a sensible answer as to why we have not had our e-tickets. Unless they get a whole lot slicker this will be our last time with them, even though we love their ships.
Contact them on FB. This happened to me in the states a few mos. ago. 3 days out, no e tickets or luggage tags. I finally contacted them on FB and got them in 30 mins.

It's all luck of the draw, and supply and demand. If you are very concerned you should book a specific cabin, that is the only way to be sure.
YTD reservations????
in Carnival Cruise Lines
Posted
Thanks. I have been on Carn. many times, I am platinum. I was hoping for a change. It is nice on RCI that you can make reservations. The last 2 times on Carnival was not worth waiting for. - way too long.
