  1. Honolulu Blue, awesome information so thank you. I'm feeling pretty stupid that I couldn't find it myself. This site has the most informed people ever.
  2. I'm trying to find out if CCL's Baltimore terminal has back-up Covid testing for those whose results haven't arrived by time of boarding. I was forced to do this at Miami's terminal in January for $100 but the alternative was missing our cruise. Nothing mentioned on the Baltimore terminal's website. Any suggestions on how to get this info. I don't feel comfortable doing the proctor thing because I'm not too techie and I'm still trying to find a rapid test place in NJ. Let this testing drama go away please.
  3. I've been on a dozen Carnival cruises and never saw a staffer doing anything to remedy chair hogs. It's such a selfish practice.
  4. Sailed in January 2022 and used CVS. Took test Thursday at 10A for Saturday sailing. Results never appeared to 9P so if Carnival didn't have testing at port we would not have made our cruise. Had to pay Carnival $100 for testing at pier in Miami. What a nightmare! For piece of mind I would pay for a rapid test if you can get it. Cruising again Oct. 1 so I hope this nonsense goes away by then.
  5. I'd like to change topic to where not to get tested and that would be CVS. In January, 4 of us got earliest test at 10 AM on Thursday for Saturday cruise. The results never came in till 9PM Saturday night for the cruise which left at 4P. We had to pay $100 each for testing at Miami terminal. So I'd like to know if any South Jersey/Philly people got their results in a timely manner and where they went. The stress of all of this almost ruined our vacation to say nothing of our flight getting cancelled too. As long as somebody is making a boatload of money on these tests, they will never go away.
  6. Thanks for posting about your Legend cruise. We're booked on it 10/1 and I picked this itinerary mainly so we don't have to fly and because I wanted to sail down the Chesapeake. Anything memorable about this long trip down the bay. Any tips about how to snag a decent spot and lounge chair on the islands. How was the ocean if you managed to get to a beach? I might continue to pick your brain as we draw closer but I'm glad you enjoyed your cruise.
  7. Thanks everyone for adding $100 to my onboard credit.
  8. When I sailed January 2022, I applied and was denied. I was told that was a thing of the past so am I to understand it is available again? At the time, this board was filled with others who were denied so I'd appreciate when things changed please.
