So everything else on the app is my 11 day cruise to the Southern Caribbean except the dining? That has never happened since the app has started being used. We cruise twice a year most years and the dining was on target.
We’re sailing on Anthem on January 7th. In the app it still shows only meals for a 7 night cruise. Are others having this issue? In the past when it was an 11 night cruise the app would show all 11 night in dining. We’ve already paid the balance and checked in so it’s not too early.
You are wrong on both counts we were Early Seating and they were trying a new program with everyone needing a reservation. This caused major problems as we could not book our times in advance as MTD did prior to sailing. You also did not get the same wait staff. We fought hard to keep them but needed to keep changing our time’s constantly to do so. Everyone was furious.
We are scheduled for early seating in January on Anthem. Our last cruise we were scheduled for early seating but when we got on board we needed to make reservations. Is this still the case or is it really early seating at 5:30?
I do understand that the app is not always reliable. I did not have the wrong cruise as all my information is accurate and the excursions go for 11 days. I think it’s just Royal and their total confusion with dining. It really does drive me crazy. But I’m Diamond+ so I put up with things.
I have a 11 day cruise in January and have been checking my app from time to time. The dining section says venue closed after day 8 for breakfast. This is not a 7 night cruise it’s 11 nights. Is this a new normal for Royal? Most of my longer cruises have been on Celebrity.
We love the Anthem, we were on it in November and booked January’24. We really enjoyed the Pickleball and Solarium. We have been on it many times as we live in NJ and are really tired of the same big shows. We do enjoy the other shows in the theater and small venues very much. Can’t wait for January!
We sailed on Anthem in November and Edge in February. On both ships we asked for an extra plate of vegetables for the table. Depending on the size of the group they brought one or two plates. We never asked for specific ones just what they were serving with the meals that evening. We did have a terrible time with Celebrity Edge changing from no early or late seatings. We didn’t have an opportunity to place any reservations ahead of time and it was a mess!!!
