Thanks for all the info.

Is there a night light in the bathroom on Voyager class ships, Mariner of the Seas?
Is there a power outlet in bathroom where you could plug in a night light?

"And, most have said the food isn't as good as it used to be, the options are less, and worse."
We sailed the Solstice on 8/25 to Alaska and I agree mostly with the above comment. That was our 25 Celebrity sailing.
Some of my favorites were missing, especially the short ribs and the lamb options were limited.
The Prime Rib was good and most of the others selections were OK, but there was not the overall quality of the menu or choices that I have had in the past.
We are sailing on RCCL the end of this month and their new menu looks much better than Celebrity's. Will have to wait and see if the choices and quality are as good as the menu sounds.

Do the still have the scones and strawberry jam around 4pm in the OVC?

I looked at the new menu for our 8/25 Solstice sailing. Not impressed at all. We are booked on RCL in September and I looked at their new menu. IMO, much superior to Celebrity. I thankful I'm in the twilight of my cruising days and have the good memories of past times.

Can someone post the new dinner menu. The App only shows desserts.

Just to be clear, is what's being discussed for the day you get on the ship or the day you get off?

We did this same cruise nine years ago. Had a stop in Russian, then two in Japan. As I recall the weather was quite pleasant. No rain and temps in the 60's especially in Japan

Is there a Elite happy hour on the embarkation day? Is been so long since I've cruised, I forgot.

Why would you not book with the company?

If I'm reading this correctly, My Time dining doesn't start until 6:30 or so. Is this correct? What time does the early fixed dining start? If I have MTD and I showed up at 6:00 would they let me be seated?

Do you think it would be fair on those who have paid to enjoy the benefits of concierge class if she was able to join you?
She's a single senior on her first ever cruise. I guess I didn't think it's that big a deal to see if she could join us. If not, will eat in the mess hall.

We’re thinking about doing the same, & are curious about that, as well.
We are in same situation. Will ask, the worst they can say is no.

My wife and I are booked in a Concierge cabin. We are sailing with another person who is not. Will she be able to join us at the lunch?

Talk to Captain's Club host when you get on board.
-
the disembarkation instructions said no carrying off luggage, so we set out our luggage and retired to bed for the evening.
Is this correct? In the past we have always been able to carry off our luggage first thing.

Did they adjust ship time to be on local time?
-
We eat early, 6 or so and book reservations on-line for the first couple of nights. If we find a table and wait staff we like, we ask the hostess to reserve that table for us each night. We sit at a table for two, but as someone said, the tables are close together so if you find someone interesting to talk to at a table next to you, easy to do or not.

Not quite. Yes, 1279 does have bed by the Bath, so that would mean 1277 by the Balcony, 1275 by the Bath, and 1273 by the Balcony. They alternate.
You are correct. Thanks for clarify.

Check out the S class cabin info at the beginning of this posting. According to it, 1279 has the bed by the bath, others by balcony.

It's $11 pp/pd + 20% gratuity. It's only available after final payment on Cruise Planner or once onboard. I believe there is a Captains Club discount on it at some loyalty levels.
Thanks

Great, but does the bathroom light need to be turned on to power the razor outlet?
