How did you get to Atlantis ? Did you pay to use Facilities while there ? We are on Breakaway
next Sunday. Thanks for Posting so quick.

They are the way to go. We went to Horseshoe, and the Caves. Didn't go to Hamilton.
Paid 50 bucks for 3 of us to go to Caves. That included a tip. The Driver waited a good
hour for us at the Caves. It's alot quicker. We were on the June 6th Dawn sailing.

We were told by a Dining Room Supervisor that a new menu was being served. It was
similar to Breakaway food. We found the Dining Room Food to be very good. We
usually cruise on Princess , but we thought the Dawn's quality of steak was better. Portions
were better. The Supervisor asked us what we thought of the food each day. She was very
nice.

About a 1/2 lb of Linguine. I was on The Royal in November, the food in the Dining Room
was good , but the beef quality is not great. Also, a few carrots , a few potatoes on
the plate. I'm just saying that NCL has improved their Dining Room Food on The Dawn.
Princess has improved the Buffett on the Royal and Regal. Just my opinion.

Just off NCL Dawn Bermuda Cruise. Quality of Dining Room food was very good. Not what
we expected. Good portions, nice strip steaks, five medium shrimp with pasta. They
told us that improvements were made the past few cruises. Our last NCL cruise was in
2007. They seemed to be steering you to pay for better food back then. The new
Royal Buffet is way better than NCL. We still prefer the Princess Experience, but NCL's
dining room food was much better. The coffee was awful, though.

You have to use your Cruise Card, it's charged to your account. I brought quarters but
not needed. I think you scan your card to get a token to use in washer or dryer. I think
it cost $2.00 per load. We brought our own soap. Sea Days are popular for doing wash.
Soap powder machines tend to run out, so if you don't bring your own soap, buy it early.

The top of the lifeboat is just below the rail, so you can't look straight down into
the water. The pulleys and cable are to your left and right, over the rail. You can see
straight out, left, right ok. We had no problem with it. Some people do. We were on the
11/17/2013 Cruise.

Stealing someones description of your photos, astonishing !! DW and I were on the 11/17
Royal Cruise. Enjoyed it. We were leery as others, after hearing so much negative
comments. Some are warranted, but it's a beautiful , new ship. Also, like others have
said , Dave has taken photos, or pointed out things we didn't see or do . Amazing. We
all have to sail again. We ate in the Dining room twice, it was very good, but for
various reasons we ate in Buffett , which was very good, also Alfredos.
Thank you Dave !!!! Enjoy your last day on the Royal.

Re: MDR Menus
For some reason, the daily MDR menus are posted at the entrance to the Horizon
Buffet. I'm pretty sure they were at the Back Elevator entrance to Horizon. Weird.
We were on the 11/17 sailing. Thanks for your great photos and info.

Those black clouds with the very yellow sun peeking through was amazing. Sadly, I was on
the Cruise watching it on the Webcam. Glad you took photos. Amazing photos. Thanks.

On the 11/17 Royal cruise, Passengers were lined up along the whole front of the building
at 1pm. Lucky we are Platinum. It took about 20 minutes to a half- hour to get to Cabin.
I didn't like how they had Passengers lined up at the Counter to get your Card. Next
person in line was right behind you. No space. Everyone anxious to board. I think you
use to wait a few feet away from Counter.

We will be on the Royal 11/17. This is a "Make-Up" Cruise for missing a Repo because
of Sandy last year. Finally, the wife and I can see what we think about the Royal.
Thanks to all for your observations, good and bad. This is what makes C.C. great.

Thanks again Royal and Blue. There are so many places to eat. We will be using the
Water Taxi, and we have two days to enjoy the area. Thanks for your quick reply
and suggestions.
-
We are staying at Hyatt Pier 66 on a Friday and Saturday. I heard we have to walk across
a bridge to get to street were restaurants are. So, what do you all recommend down
the street. Also where would you eat if you took the Water Taxi. Assume places will be
busy on Fri. and Sat. . Thanks.

Thank you for info, Jane.

Thanks Royal Cruz for info. You do a great job.

actually cruise is the end of March.

I tried to look for other hotels, but nothing else showed. Is the Hyatt the only hotel
On site ? My friend is cruising the end of Match, and hotel rates are high. Hyatt is $179.
Any other hotel suggestions ? Thanks in advance.
-
Friends have Res. there next April for Pre Cruise, as Hotel Rates for Other Hotels were $$$$.
Is there any Shuttle we can Take heading towards Miami to see homes along the Ocean ?
I'm not excited about renting a car. Thanks.
-
Does anyone have an estimate of Cab Fare for 4 from Fll Airport to Hyatt Pier 66.
Might need 2 cabs because of Luggage. Thanks.
-
No hassle using your Surge Protector ? Earlier post said S.P. Interferred with Ship
electrical system. We are going on the 11/17 sailing. Thanks for your observations.

Great info on renting a Motor Skooter and Jet Ski. Beautiful Photos. We were in Bermuda
last year. Thanks for taking the time to post.
