Hope everyone enjoys the holiday andr not stress over any potential weight gain. :D
Well, when all is said and done about Tday I only gained 0.2lbs:eek:. Given stress and the amount of food available, I'll take this as a major step forward:D

Hang in there...I know it can be frustrating. Do you weigh in at meetings or at home? Could your scale be broken??? Do you feel any difference in your clothing?
I had a few extras yestrday but I am going to step class tonight. I plan on weighing myself tonight at the gym. There scale had me at 144 and my scale had me at 142.
I found a great recipe for beef & bean chili on the WW website. I plan on making it Saturday. Seems like it has some great reviews. I'm not a big chili eater but I will give it a try.
I get weighed at home, each Saturday morning in the exact same spot at the exact same time (give or take).
Thanks:o

After a month and a half, I'm still at 169.2 - a net loss of 1.8lbs. I'll keep plugging away.

Hello,
Well, good news comes to those who waitA:D. After one full month of WW points, I have gone down from 171 to 169.2:eek:. Can't wait to keep the momentum going.;)

Family events are such a downfall for me, cuz I end up eating things I know I really shouldn't but can't help it, then, combined with everything else on my menu for the week and all my walking, I shouldn't be surprised that there was no change. At least it didn't go up:D. Well there's always next Saturday. :o

Hey everybody,
I've seen a lot of people asking for budget advice so here's the budget I've been using in a downloadable excel file. The file is fully automated to total your expenses, subtract the cash you already have saved and have put down as deposits and tell you how much you'll have to save per paycheck or week to have the wedding of your dreams. (All of my info is removed of course so you can just start your own budgeting.) Also included are worksheets for your guest list and the 12 month countdown checklist I've been using.
Please read the info on the first page! If you have any questions or problems my contact info is there. (if you cannot download the file using the instructions on the site, you can choose to open the file with excel and then save it.)

Hope this helps! Please don't forget to let me know what you think!
This is a great idea. I've been having trouble setting up my own. However, I'm having a bit of trouble with the spreadsheet. Any instructions?
Thanks

Yet another Saturday on the scale, this time with disheartening results. Of the 2 pounds I previously lost, I gained back 1.8 lbs. At least, it's still a net loss of 0.2 lbs.

Week two on the scale, having followed the points faithfully, no change. At least there's next week.:(

Hello,
Got weighed for the first time over the weekend. I'm at 171 and have set up a tier schedule for myself.
6 lbs - honorable mention
11 lbs - bronze medal
16 lbs - silver medal
21 lbs - gold medal
The hardest for me is, that after I loose the weight, to maintain the weight no matter how hard I try.
Next weigh in should be interesting.
Got weighed this past weekend and lost 2 pounds - only 19 more to go :D

Hi,
My first weigh in will be tomorrow morning and I'll be able to see where I stand in terms of what I'll actually want to loose. I know that I'm definitely going to start doing my weekly menus again for B, L, D; which has helped in the past. I'm crossing my fingers.

Count me in!!We cruise the WesternCarreibean January 12th. I want to lose to look good but realy I need to lose for health reason also.
:(
Not that I need much, but I can use all the inspiration I can get. I usually weigh in at home on Saturday mornings. I have a menu (based on WW points) that goes from Saturday-Friday. I hate getting weighed more than once a week because I don't want to get discouraged.

Hello,
Does anyone want to join me doing the Weight Watchers point system? I'm looking to lose 21 pounds by October 2013 (target cruise date). Let me know so that we can loose together.
Thanks.

Hello,
Do reservations to Sabatini's and Sterling Steakhouse need to be made in advance, if so how far in advance? Can it be done same day? Is there any penalty for cancelling an already made reservation at either?
Thanks:confused:

Hi,
I work virtually in the hotel's backyard. It's on the Neponse River with a gazebo, which is probably it's only redeeming quality. It does have a shuttle, but other than that it's virtually in the middle of nowhere. I agree, if you can find a better online deal for a downtown hotel go for it. You won't be disappointed.:p
Best Western Adams Inn is an example of a hotel in a "fringe" area that offers shuttle and parking to compensate for its poor location. Folks have stayed at this hotel and been satisfied, but others have not. This is a hotel you pick if you want to fly into Boston and stay in a not centrally located hotel in Quincy until you go to the pier. If the 3 1/2* Back Bay hotel is on Hotwire for about $100, for a little more money you can stay in an upscale area of Boston with shops and restaurants, be in a location you can walk around at night, and have easy access to Boston sights as well as the port.
Weight Watchers Point System anyone?

Although I'll take this as a small victory :D, still no change this week. I'll just be happy to get through this month at staying the same:rolleyes:
