Does anyone know if you get your transfers if they get your luggage at the airport and take it directly to the ship?

Can I buy an internet package before we cruise? I prefer to have most things prepaid.

I always buy them on the ship and have always taken them right to my cabin. My last cruise was 07/17 and had no problem. They don’t have a huge choice in brands just the most popular. Marlboro, Newport etc

This is excellent news. Which Hampton Inn was it? Downtown/Las Olas or Airport/Cruise Port? Did they allow you to make reservations in advance?
Downtown/Las Olas and yes you can make reservations in advance thru dayuse dot com. They take no deposit, not even a credit card. About 2 weeks before I called hotel to confirm they had my reservation. Absolutely no problems. I wish I could remember the gentlemens name that check us in because he was a hoot and very helpful. It might have been Sly but not sure. I hope if you try this you enjoy it as much as we did. In fact we decided whenever going out of Port Everglades we would always book a late flight from now on.

We just had this scenario in June. There was 6 of us, we booked a day room at the Hampton Inn Fort Lauderdale. It was ver nice and clean. One person opted for a nap and the rest of us took hotel provided transportation to the beach, had lunch at beach, walked around a bit and back to hotel which then had free shuttle to airport. It was only 70.00+tax. Would definitely do it again and was happy we missed the cruise crowds at the airport

A couple years ago we were at Las Olas and were very disappointed. It change so much from when we had previously been there. So many stores were empty. Has it changed again.
What is on the Riverwalk?

Sorry I should have said, Fort Lauderdale

Thinking of using either one if these properties for a day use after cruise. Anyone have any info as which one would be better to maybe access a beach, water taxi or just something to spend a few hours doing while waiting for a 7:30 pm flight home.

I will ask at one of the bars, I am on allure now. I think someone had posted they weren't available until day 5 or 6. We are only on day 2 so will post later in the week.
Thanks, looking forward to following along. Have a great cruise!

Enjoyed going along on your cruise. Getting ready to board June 25th, do you know if they offer the 79.99 drink card? I know someone asked before but couldn't find the answer. Thanks

:')So sorry they are not stepping up and remedying their actions. I do not remember and not really interested in going back to find out but did you book thru travel agent? We had our agent get our remedy. I agree I would copy this entire thread and send it to them. Let them know people are watching and customer service is all they have to differ themselves from other mass market cruise lines.

We had this happen to us on a reserved b2b. We were able to connect it with another cruise but also would have a day in between. Because they caused the problem they did cover the hotel for a night between the two cruises and all transfers back and forth to the port. So maybe you can ask for something like that if it will work for you. Good Luck and enjoy whatever you settle on.

Does anyone know if you can use the soda package towards an upgrade to premium package?

The one on Dorsey is clean and well appointed. It is not the Ritz but you won't be paying the price of the Ritz. The rooms were recently updated and there is a small frig and maybe a microwave. There is also a nice restaurant/bar in the parking lot if you need a meal.

This is a very nice hotel with free breakfast, free shuttle to port and you can book really reasonably on trinityreservations.com that includes parking. Have stayed there numerous times and have never been disappointed.

I just used email to request onboard credit for stock and received a response within the hour
Submit it to worldcruisereservations@hollandamerica.com

I would try trinity reservations dot com. Their prices are the best around. We have stayed at the Best Western on Dorsey Rd multiple times and I would recommend. There is a restaurant next door for a dinner or lunch. Free shuttle, and breakfast.

Thanks for heads up! Unless I knew to look for it I would never have noticed. I am the contact person on reservation and I received no such email.

Where can i find obc posted to my account from my carnival stock. I sent in my request about 3 weeks ago and just want to see if it has been approved.
Should be able to find it on cruise documents. Under general information.

Too late, didn't realize this was old topic
Airport transfers

Thanks, that’s just what I was asking.
I thought it changed around 9/11 but haven’t needed to use a transfer in that long.
