    Sounds like your attitude is just fit for a more "elegant" cruise line and here just to stir the pot.

    I did not take pictures of the deteriorating ship. Go on the ship, and see for yourself. Obviously the CDC report is a joke. I am not going to answer any more questions or react to any more posts. I want to put this pathetic cruise behind me now , and not ever think of it again.

    Perhaps the length of your cruise brought out a different clientele , in fact I am sure of it.. BUT it still doesn't fix the fact that this ship if in desperate need of cleaning, and repairs.

The staff was helpful, the ship is clean and very well maintained, the shows were nice and the food was adequate. Additionally, the value factor versus cost is excellent and no one within my party had any negative views of the Venezia. If given the opportunity and time, I would cruise once again the Venezia without hesitation. 

    For two people we spend 3k plus for an aft balcony room.. I don't consider this cheap cruise for us. We could have purchased a cheap room.. I get that you can cruise for next to nothing on this cruise line.. but we don't go for that. I also get why there was so much rift raft on this ship vs RCL

    We’re platinum too.  We used a limo service to get to port and when the car dropped 6 of us off in drop off area, port personnel were scrambling around. There were maybe 3 porters visibly loading luggage on their luggage trolleys haphazardly. It was crazy. We arrived around 10:30. Maybe a later arrival time would have been better.     Sure, people spill things and you will find some stains, but that's normal, and they do get addressed. If the OP was so upset, why didn't he take pictures to document it? I've posted hundreds of pictures so far in my review, and I'm not seeing it. And before you say that I wouldn't post them if they existed, I have always told it like it is. I show the good, the bad, the indifferent. I am not a shill for Carnival, and I don't gamble enough to get free cruises. 

     

    In three weeks aboard her not once did we encounter any rude crew members. It was quite the opposite. Perhaps the OP was rude to them first. I have a feeling, and I could be wrong, that the OP was on the Bermuda cruise that didn't make it to Bermuda, and is showing his displeasure here.

    You are so wrong.. We have been to Bermuda many times, and had nothing at all planned to do there this time. It did make us spend more time on this pathetic cruise ship though .

    The worst cruise out of 23 cruise ships. I do not know what is up with this ship, rude staff, rude passengers. Ship is dirty throughout. The main dinning area is like a old, outdated convention center. There are stains on the fabic of the chairs in dinning area.. was afraid to sit on some. There are so many soiled rugs. The casino area to walk through -I felt sick, smoke, stale smoke, and what smelled like urine. Avoid this ship!!

    In August on the Breakaway, my Surf and Turf was not that great. The lobster tail was alright but my steak was way undercooked. They took it back and microwaved it. That made it go from bad to worse. I’ve had some really nice meals in Ocean Blue but not that time. As far as a dress code, men are suppose to wear pants but the guy at the table sitting next to us had shorts on. His key card on the table was a Haven card so maybe Haven guests aren’t required to abide to dress codes.

    Well when the lowest price room in the Haven area goes for 6,880.00 for two- you will dress how you want.
