We had dinner in Portofinos a while back, I think on Serenade, and we liked it a lot. The steak was better than the steak offered that time in the dining room.

You were able to book your shows 9 1/2 months out? That sounds a bit off!
I went to check it last Saturday, after reading from another CC member who is sailing in December who was already able to reserve his shows. Otherwise I would not have checked it out this early.
What you might have read is that some people who book it late on the first day felt tired (especially if they had flown in that morning) because it's a long show 90 minutes without an intermission.Familygoboston, this is always a concern for me, as I usually fall asleep around show time anyways. I think we have been in 1 cruise where I was able to watch all the shows from beginning to end. :p But I am used to this. I am planning to flight the day before so hopefully I will be well rested.

We are sailing Oasis on November 29th. I was able to reserve all our shows this past Saturday, and reserved Hairspray for the first night (Saturday) on board. I have a feeling I had read something about booking shows on the first night, but with the Search function not working have not been able to confirm if the first night is a good choice. Opininons? Ideas?

Do you still have the pictures of Allure boardwalk 11717
I would also like to see the pictures of 11717. I have booked 11317 for the week after Thanksgiving on Oasis.

I just made all my reservations online for my Oasis cruise in November. I was able to reserve Hairspray (have it reserved for the first night onboard.) Feels strange to be planning so far ahead. Will I be able to make changes on line if I decided I wanted to see a show at another time?

We are booked on Legend in 7055 for Sept. 2014, just the two of us. There was no question about a third passenger.

This was our menu for the evening. We were asked to meet at 6:30pm at the Schooner Bar, where champagne was served by the Sommelier. We were led to the Table at about 7pm. It would be a long but fun evening, sheer gastronomical delight. It was 10:30pm before we got back to our cabins.
We were told that the menus were almost standardized fleet-wide. However, this menu was slightly customized. Course number 3, the Duck Roll, was Asian inspired.
After reading your review of the Chef's table I know DH and I would love to do this. How do they accomodate guests with allergies, did you have one in your group? I am allergic to seafood, so I could not eat the crab and lobster plate but the rest of the menu looks fantastic.

Not sure about soda but we did the luggage tag trick on the Liberty in October with a case of water. No problems whatsoever. I personally think it's worth trying and would not hesitate to do it. The risk is worth the reward as they say.
I have read a few reports on cruisecritic lately where people have put a luggage tag on soda or water packs and they have arrived with their luggage. I am planning on doing the water myself.
