  1. We had 309 on the Caribbean Princess and loved it. We picked 309 because it was more or less central in the window suites. I would do it again. I agree with the 301 and 303 locations having a smoky smell outside in the hallway. For some reason they seemed to keep the door of the cigar lounge open a lot, and then the door to the hallway near 301 was kept open a lot too.

We took this suite on a British Isles cruise and did not really miss a balcony since the weather was often cool plus we were off the ship so much it didn't matter. I'm sure you,ll like it. Too bad they are only available on a few ships. :)

  2. Sometimes after a TransAtlantic, there is a lot of paperwork to be done by the ship on docking and there could be a delay in disembarking so maybe that is why they say 7 hrs. It takes about 2 hrs on a Princess shuttle to get to London. I was just on a cruise that had done a transatlantic to New York and I was surprised at how late the people were disembarking. I thought that maybe the ship had been late into port but was told it was held up due to all the paperwork involved in the first port of a country.

  3. I did this on a recent flight to Las Vegas. My daughter had the window, I had the aisle and middle. We had to do seat selection ahead of time to make sure we got all three seats in a row. One of my tickets was booked in my name and the second had my name plus the words extra seat on it. I did it through a travel agent but had no problems. We put the arm rests up and had lots of room. Much more comfortable. However, I was told that on some planes, in some rows, that the arm rests do not fold up, so you may want to check that. I believe that it may be the bulkhead rows. hope this helps. pj
