Quick question: we're looking for a Cozumel/Western cruise in September 2020 out of FL but I don't see hardly any 4/5 days during that time. I see some in November/December. Are they usually not available during that time of the year or are those dates not announced yet? Thanks!

She was very good! I agree - very available and very interactive. The Q&Awesome she did for our sailing was so much fun.
For sure. She answered quite a few questions we had wondered about life and career in cruising.

Thank you for the review! Who was the CD for your sailing? We sail real soon!
Thanks!
We just sailed Liberty from Jan. 6-10 and Nono was CD. I had previously seen Donkey would be CD but now appears she is there until April? But she was great. One of the most available and interactive we’ve ever had.

Gotcha. Thank you for your help!

Currently on the Liberty, how will we know when our room is ready before 1:30?
-
I apologize if this has been posted but I wondered if anyone has a photo of the menus for Barbecue spot and Pizza Plus on the Liberty? I have found most of the other menus but have not located those.
Thanks in advance!

Are there magnetic walls on the Liberty?

A few things we learned on our first cruise:
Travel the day before. Can get to the port earlier and not be so tired on the day you set sail.
As somone already said: You can get multiple apps, entrees, desserts in the dining room.
You can request a table in the dining room for only your party in the dining room (we've done this for a 2 seater and 4 seater).
As someone also already said: pack less. Definitely!
Read CruiseCritic boards to help research the next cruise. :-)

Is that the new cake area that I've seen people talking about? Is it just part of the buffet area?

You can always book with Carnival then shop it around to transfer it to a TA. See how much obc you can get. I've gotten from $100 for an inside to $300 for a balcony from a TA I transferred to after I initially booked it myself with the cruise line. I saw a price drop and just emailed the TA and she took care of getting it for me.
That's what I've done for the last several cruises. Go ahead and get the room I want and lock in the price, get any Carnival bonuses, then transfer to my TA to get their extra OBC. Plus I can put in my requests for dining and such with them.

Several years ago we did a day pass at the Hilton British Colonial. It comes with a food/drink credit so not all inclusive but it lasted for us. Very nice facility, smallish beach but wasn't least bit busy or crowded and the pool area is nice as well.
-
My wife has made them with a recipe she found and they are just as good. Also, the crockpot molten cakes are pretty amazing as well and you can have more than just one. :-)
-
Technically you are correct but because the food/beverage credit is so high, for us, it works that way.
I agree. We ended up leaving a little money behind.

With FTTF you may make it to Universal not long after the park opens. It's about an hour drive.
more likely to do that if we park at the port, right? since it is about an hour drive and we can be one of the first off the ship, I would hate to waste 30-45 minutes dealing with a shuttle, if that's what we'd be looking at?
-
I loved my room location 7365.
we will be in 7371, so that is a good location?
-
We usually do a park and stay at a hotel, but for our cruise out of Port Canaveral, we are thinking of going to Universal Studios that day. So I'm thinking, park at the port, we have FTTF, we can self-debark and be in our car and on the road by 9am at the latest?
I have looked at Park n Cruise for a little savings. Are their shuttles at the port waiting that early? And I'm guessing they won't leave until they have a full bus?

You have a car so it does not matter! You can stay as far away as Daytona Bach and still be fine on cruise morning! But suggest you stay closer in case of weather/traffic issues.
Orlando airport area properties are great. Melbourne is fine too and you will have a pleasant scenic drive to the Port! Simply pick an hotel that suits your budget and needs.
About parking. How many people? You can park for as little as $40 (2 pax) for a 7-night cruise in a nice tarmac lot only minutes from the Port and it will be on your way from Melbourne along A1A.
You can read about all the parking choices here: Comparing Parking Options at Port Canaveral and Off-site.
2 adults and 1 teen (which I presume will be charged as an adult).

We are sailing in January 2019 out of Port Canaveral and I am looking to book our hotel the night before. We are driving in, so we will have a car. Looking at reviews, I can't find a decent hotel near the port or Cocoa Beach that is less than $150 and still have to either add parking at the hotel or pay parking elsewhere. I don't really want to drop over $200 for hotel/parking for one night.
So I have found some better options both around the Orlando airport and down in Melbourne, both are about a 45 minute to the port. Is there one option that would be a better drive on embarkation morning?
Or if there are some suggestions in Cocoa Beach area of a more budget-friendly hotel, I'm all ears. The reviews of some have just kind of kept me away from some of those.
Thanks for any advice.

I figured that was the case, but wanted to make sure. Thanks for the info everyone!

Looking at FTTF purchase and in my cart it says:
Time: 12:00 PM - 01:00 PM
Is that time arbitrary, they have to have a time since it's listed with excursions or is that the time I am signing up for check-in time?
-
A question about boarding time: Sailing in January, we have not done our online check in yet because we are getting our daughter a passport (I know she doesn't need one to cruise but we want her to have one for future trips as well). Am I missing out on earlier boarding times or does that selection happen closer to set sail date? Just trying to weight if FTTF is worth it for us. Thanks

I updated the folder and renamed the photos to make it easier.
Thank you for posting these. It's a big help. :-)

Try this link for menus. I uploaded them to my GDrive. It should be all of them but I may be missing a page or two. Uploading on LTE doesn’t always work.

Thank you. Am I missing something or is it mostly the same from night to night?

I’ve got them for the whole cruise. I’ll post tonight. Or if you want to text me at 314-225-5881 I can send them right away.
posting here is fine. I'm in no hurry, we're still months out. :-) Thanks so much!!
