I wonder how many people fall from hotel balconies every year.

With the change of the adult only pool, can somebody tell me if there is a elevator to the Serenity decks? will be on her soon and cannot climb too many stairs.
-
My problem with the decision is the timing. They could make the switch as they add the serenity area in dry dock. No adult only area will be a problem for us in the future.

We were on the Indy in April. As I was the one to make the reservation, our 2 DDs and 4 GSs were able to board with us as Diamonds. Just stay together and it will be ok.
-
OK here is a 18M PDF, all 4 pages of the 9 days
Please let me know if there is a better way of doing this.
Thank you!!!!! These will help our planning on our upcoming cruise in Sept. on her.

Reading lots of threads about things that seem too trivial to ruin a vacation. After all, we're on a cruise ship right? What silly thing can ruin your vacation. I'm going to miss baseball but I watch tons at home. Small thing but I will miss my Mets
What are '' Mets''?

We were just on the Indy in April with 2-4year olds and a 8 year old. They could not wait to go each day to Adventure Ocean. They had a blast. Just go early to sign them up.

I will be on the Sept. 15 NE/Canada cruise. Do you have access of any of the compasses or menus? When were the formal nights? Did you take any of the trolley excursions in Boston or eat dinner anywhere? Do the Canadian ports accept US currency? I may have a few more questions when I think of them.
I see you are new to CC. Have you signed up for the Roll Call? And the Meet and Mingle? Will be on the same cruise with you.

We have the same problem here with the bridges. Also, in Tampa. They want to move the port here in Jacksonville out on the other side but a group of locals have been fighting it.

I thought that this change was already made but when I talked to the TA, they said that Traditional was already booked and to try back in a few months before the cruise (sailing 3/26/2017).
It is hard for me to believe that they are already booked this far out. Could it be that RCI Traditional Dinning is not really booked all up but that this TA's only has an allotted amount of Traditional bookings and they are all out?
Whatever the reason, my questions are:
Can I book it directly with RCI myself (now over the phone)?
If not, can Traditional Dinning be booked through the Cruise Planner when it comes open?
or I'm I just stuck with TA in this matter?
Here is something I learned a couple of years ago. People like traditional especially early so Rccl will tell you that it is full and try back later but if you push hard they will book you in traditional.A few cruises ago I just told the agent if I can't get early dining I would just not book the cruise. She put me on hold for about 5 min. and came back to say it was ok. On our next cruise coming up in Sept., we had late dining and I called and again said I had to have early dining. Got it.
The reason for this is that a lot of people still like traditional so they keep it open for a closing tool later.
Mtd is great if you know your schedule and book reservations ahead but to wait at the door is like being at home.

Anyone can throw in a half baked suggestion. here's mine....
If D's are to be excluded from the lounge, give them five drink vouchers per day to use anytime during the 24 hours (when they're gone, they're gone so why would it matter when you use them)
Agree with you but won't happen as most people don't have time to use them now and therefore Rccl cost cutting people(have other word but can't print it) would have to pour the drinks.
-
Rccl has been doing these bogus sales for about two years now. It always comes out to any other deals so there are really not many deals but just a different way of saying their everyday pricing. Started at about the same time as drink packages and dining packages. Also when bingo payoffs were changed and "tips" were adjusted. Does anybody else smell a CEO that is getting paid a huge bonus on "profit"
-
We usually do a inside which leaves us a lot of cash to buy whatever part of "class" we want.

I would strongly suggest flying into Fort Lauderdale the day before! Anything could happen like flight cancellations or delays. Better safe than sorry! Also flying in a day early lets you start your vacation even earlier. (:
Agree 100% on both suggestions.
-
It will likely be less expensive to book air on your own. The cruise line air is most financially advantageous when flying internationally, especially one-way fares.
Agree 100%

I have been trying to get into the rewards from the RCCL credit card but cannot get into what you can redeem them for. Has anybody else been having this problem?
-
We loved Explorer. No interest in Quantum. Liberty is coming to NJ but prices are beyond comprehension. You should look at NCL for a fresh perspective, or try X where your perks with RCI still get you something. I don't know what this new management team is thinking, it's like they want all the loyal to Royals to leave.
We just got off the Indy and we agree with you completely. We have one coming up on the Freedom and then we go shopping for a new cruise line. Sad, after the Freedom, we will only be 15 days short of Diamond +.

We have been on 14 different ships in our 19 cruises with RCCL. Each size and age of the ship will give you a different feel. As I tell all those who start trying other lines, go with a open mind. Each will have their good and bad. We have been on the Freedom and her sister ship the Liberty. Both were great trips. We will be on the Indy in 2 weeks which will finish the Freedom class for us. You will only feel crowded at a couple of events. We also had several good cruises with CCL and will be doing another one with them soon. Remember, a cruise is what you make it. Never had a bad cruise just some interesting ones. Have fun.

I have been told this on 3 bookings until I tell the TA that to put a 24 hr. hold on the cabin as we may not book it. It then takes about a 3 minutes when they come back on and say they got us the dining time we wished, so lets book it now.
-
Someone on a FB forum I frequent said Once Upon A Time was the show onboard when Freedom first came out?
Surely someone here can confirm or deny that but if true, isn't past time for a change?
I strolled out of the show in 2012. Didnt care for it.
Seen it in 2007 when we were on her.

We did this several years ago and had no problem. It was 2007 so things may have changed. We did not have a drop off fee as it was considered part of the Houston Area. Yes it was Enterprise. Several people were doing the same when we were there. Took a few pics to CYA, dropped the keys and paperwork through the door, called a cab and was at the dock in twenty minutes. Just ask the rental people about it.
