  1. The entrance is the main entrance to the theatre.

We met the cabin steward on Day 1 and talked about our preferences for cleaning and turndown. He was the best. Though he may not have been around all we had to do was give him a call and he responded. I would recommend making that interaction when you first meet.

And the casino is not opened on the port days.

  2. We have stayed in this cabin and it was wonderful. We never experienced any smoke smell nor a lot of noise. It is very convenient to the theatre and the casino yet is in it's own little hallway so there is no traffic at all other than for those 4 cabins.

If I ever get a chance to sail the Dawn again I would book this cabin!!!!

    Enjoy

  3. Hi,

My husband and I (mid 60s) are experienced ocean cruisers but have booked our first river cruise for next spring on the Constitution. I am hoping that those of you with more experience can answer some of the questions we have. Some may be very basic but I am having difficulty in finding answers.

First we are booked on the Revolution cruise out of Baltimore. The website lists excursions for each stop but not with details such as cost and time. When and / or how do I get more information on the excursions so that I can start to plan for each port?

Second, I have read that the average age is usually an older crowd, does that mean similar to us or even older? Patience is not my husbands greatest characteristic so I want to prepare him for a slow pace.

and lastly, with much fewer passengers than on our previous cruises do you rate the 1:1 service that much better than the ocean cruise lines?

If anyone has any pictures of the Constitution I would also love to see her details.

    Thanks

    Donna

  4. Hi,

We have booked cabin 6508 for our upcoming cruise. I was hoping that others who have had one of these 4 cabins on deck 6 could let me know their experiences.

Was the cabin smokey from the casino?

Could you hear a lot of noise from both the casino and the theatre?

Were the cabin stewards attentive? Since there are only 4 I was wondering if they tended to forget about these?

Any information / photos would be great.

    Thanks

  5. Hi,

I have a cruise planned for early January on the Silhoutte. This will be the first cruise on Celebrity as we usually cruise on NCL. The casinos on NCL on recent cruises have been jammed packed and for me not enjoyable.

I have read that Celebrity has less night time entertainment that NCL so am wondering if the casinos get busy?

    Thanks

  6. A group of 4 girlfriends (late 50s - early 60s) going a the Dawn to Bermuda later this summer. Three of us have been on many cruises but for the 4th this will be her first cruise.

We were thinking of getting custom T-shirts for us for sail away and I am having a tough time thinking of clever sayings for the shirts. Would like to have some mention about the 1st time cruiser.

Has anyone seen any funny T-shirts that may be good for our group?

    Thanks
