First time with the beverage package and have a question - do they give you a separate card to present or is the cabin card set up for the beverage package?

First time having the UBC and have a question. In the terms it says the bucket of beer is not covered. Is that accurate?

If we were in a suite could we request more that 1 bottle of beer at a time?

We like to enjoy our drinks on the balcony and don't know how this will impact us.

I am about 2 months out of our cruise date on the Dawn and I would like to plan dinner reservations.

I am not on the Dawn but have heard from my friend who is.

They left Bermuda earlier than planned Tuesday and got free drinks. The seas were a little rough but not really bad. Yesterday was cool and cloudy with seas still a little rough. Today they have sunshine and smoother sailing.

She is making the best of the changes and is totally enjoying the cruise.

Lucky us, we just accepted an upgrade from a Neptune suite to a Pinnacle suite for a cruise leaving tomorrow.

My worry is that my boarding passes and luggage tags still have the old room number on them. I can not print either new passes or luggage tags from the on line checkin.

How should I handle this tomorrow? Have others experienced this concern?

Wow we are so looking forward to this vacation and I want to make sure we get off on the right note......

Saw that you are on the Rotterdam and haven't seen to many messages on the Rotterdam.

We will be sailing on her in September for the first time. Would love to see any pictures you may have of her.

Also do you like the new retreat area?

And any information on the slots in the casino?

We will be sailing on her for the first time in October and possibly due to the fact that she is currently located in Europe there do not appear to be many threads about her.

Some of my specific questions are how do people find the Lido layout? Other ships have more separate stations that allow quicker access, does the Rotterdam layout cause congestion?

Any information on the casino? I tend to spend most nights there and would love to see photos or hear about the types of slots they have.

The aft Retreat area seems to get a lot of negative feedback although it does look interesting. Do they show movies on the big screen every night?

When I looked at their website the horses of course look well fed and happy.

I am on the fence about this one so if there is any feedback from anyone that has actually done this excursion it will help me finalize the answer.

Need some fast advice please. We will be on the Breakaway next week and were researching horseback riding excursions. There is one in Nassau called Happy Trails.

Has anyone done this excursion and what was your feedback? It looks like it a ways away from where the ship docks.

I was hoping to get advice as to which ship to book for a late summer / early fall cruise to New England / Canada, the Veendam or the Rotterdam?

It will be my DH and I and we will be booking a Neptune Suite.

Researching the website I am not seeing too much of a difference between these two ships but experience is more telling. We are not pool or show people. We enjoy good food and drink and I enjoy the casino.

Any and all recommendations welcome

Really enjoying your review. We have been to Bermuda on the Dawn multiple times and always enjoyed ourselves. We will be on the July 24th sailing and I am looking for something new to do in Bermuda so am very interested in your experiences. I have a very mild touch of OCD and your organizational skills blow me out of the water! I am usually the one arranging all the schedules and just once I would love to cruise with someone like you where I could be the one that is led!!!!

Would love to hear more about your activities on shore for the three days. We have done the beaches and enjoyed Elbow beach the best. But would love to try something new this time.

Also want to hear more about "your machine" and fun in the casino:)

I have a question regarding the aft facing suites on the Dawn. They are located on decks 8, 9, and 10. Does anyone know if there are differences in the sizes depending on which deck and if there is a choice is there a preference?
