  1. Just booked an ocean view balcony cabin on the symphony of the seas... i have 2 questions... our cabin number is 6546, deck 6, forward part of the ship, pretty far forward in fact. I have read of some complaints with the balconies on deck 6 because of the life boats located beneath, on deck 5, obstruct the view below. However, I have also read that the balcony cabins that are located forward enough do not encounter this problem because the life boats do not cover the entire side of the ship. Can any one shed some light on whether my cabin will have an obstructed view below or not? also will my cabin have the bed by the balcony or sofa by the balcony?? thank you!!

  2. I know the rule is two bottles per stateroom. But is this two bottles per day? And let's Say you didn't want to bring wine from home on board, but wanted to wait until you were at a port to buy a local wine, would you be allowed to bring that wine onboard if you didn't bring any on from day one? How do they enforce this?

  3. Looking to rent a jet ski in Marseille. Has anybody had any experience renting a jet ski from Marseille. If so, could you please share your experience, name of the company, rates/times, etc. Thanks!

  4. Any number of people or devices can share a one-device plan, but only one device can be online at a time.

so to clarify, if purchase it, it will be 13.71 per day for one device. lol, thats what i thought, but when i saw the per person mentioned, it threw me for a loop

  5. I am thinking about buying the voom package on my upcoming harmony cruise. on the royal website it says the price is 13.71 per adult per day. now i know that is the price for one device, but we are two in a room, so will the price be double that per day? i want to say it seems out of order that they'd charge per person in the room along with X amount of devices, however, i won't put it past any company to make an extra buck. can anybody clarify if i buy the package will i be paying 13.71 or 27.42 per day (double occupancy price). thanks!

  6. cheers! Last time I sailed out of Barcelona was about 7 years ago, and we basically left the night club at 7 got our bags and went to the port. The night and early morning was a bit foggy, so I can't remember when exactly they let us on, but I seem to recall us getting onboard around 11ish, was hoping things hadn't changed.

  7. has anybody ever had problems making their final payments on the Royal website? I am trying to make the final payment and it keeps telling my credit card number is incorrect. It most certainly is not, and it is not expired. It is the same card I used to pay the deposit a couple months back... Anybody experienced this before?

  8. I have lived in Barcelona for the past three years, and my girlfriend has lived here for most of her life. Tipping is extremely rare. Just not a part of the culture. I'm sure they would welcome it, but they certainly aren't expecting it. Although I have noticed when I have friends visit and we eat in more touristy areas, those are the only places that mention gratuity is not included either by saying it or seeing it on the bill. But in my opinion, if you don't tip, no problem at all.

  9. What about the trick where I give my drink to my lady and voilà, empty hands? Lol..

I'm debating getting the package or not. Now, I rarely drink, maybe one or two drinks a month. But on all my cruises, I always spent a ton on booze. Been 5 years since my last cruise, and I'm not even sure if I could drink like I used to. But it is vacation soooo... Might be worth it to get the package. You can buy the package once onboard, correct?
