  1. If you wait until on board, it is possible some could become sold out. I would really like to book private ones though because many times they are half the price or even cheaper than that.

  2. We did Dunns River Falls and Bamboo Beach Club.

My adventurous 8 year old son hated Dunns. He was afraid the entire time and honestly as a parent it made me a nervous wreck. On top of that the guides hound you like crazy for a tip. When we finished I had a twenty and 3 ones and decided to give the guy 3 ones as I thought $20 was way too much for what he did. He was rude about the tip and wouldn't speak the rest of the time. He even followed people in our group back to the parking lot to the van if they did not tip him (probably 1/2 a mile away from the ending of the falls).

Bamboo Beach Club was amazing. It included food and drinks. The beach was like a post card.

  3. I am on a ship now and we had planned on doing a beach day through the boat. However, the port we were stopping at today was cancelled so we want to do a better excursion in Falmouth.

The issue is the day in port is tomorrow. Has anyone had any experience booking things once on land in Falmouth? Were the prices about the same as through the cruise line? Trying to decide if I just wait until we get there to book something or if we should go ahead and pay more directly through the cruise line.

  4. I am taking a NCL cruise next year and have a question on boarding documents. How do they handle shorter version of names when matching drivers license with birth certificates for board? For example, my legal name is Bradley but my drivers license says Brad. Will I be denied boarding because both documents don't match the first name of Bradley?
