Does anyone know when they normally release December fares? Looking to buy airfare for my cruise and they are not available yet.

If you wait until on board, it is possible some could become sold out. I would really like to book private ones though because many times they are half the price or even cheaper than that.

I have called MSC a couple times asking and what I have gathered is they don't know what they are, you don't get to pick (it is assigned) and they couldn't tell me if my kids could do them or not.

Catching this late. I just booked room 12002 for a November 2018 cruise. So it does not have 2 bedrooms in it? The reason I purchased it was because it said it was just over 600 sq ft with the 2 bedrooms. Will they compensate me if it ends up not having 2 bedrooms?

If you have a discover card they have 5% cashback at Lowe's right now and you can buy the cards there.

Interesting. Trying to book a grand suite for a sailing in 2018. The MSC website has it listed but my travel agent that I work with said that this category doesn't exist????

Anyone?

I read one of the benefits of the wellness package is free shore excursions. What exactly are those excursions? Looking at a Cozumel, Grand Cayman, and Jamaica cruise.

I am almost positive you get 1 point per 1 dollar spent in slots. If you are playing $1.50-$2 slots, it would probably be done in about 2 hours by the time you win $10-$20 here and there.

Odd question, I have a friend meeting me for a cruise. He decided to fly in the day of the cruise (which is risky) and I am coming in the day before. On the day of the cruise, do we have to board the ship at the same time or can I board the ship first and he board when his flight gets in? We are sharing the same stateroom.

Most schools quit taking grades 7-10 school days before the last day of school so that grades can be processed and decisions can be made on promotion. Ask a teacher that you have a good relationship with at the school and I am sure they will tell you.

If you look around there is an online travel agent that offers discounted rates on MSC and NCL cruises. I booked a cruise for about 10% less than I could directly through MSC. The only bad part with this TA is that if you cancel your booking they charge you a $100 fee.
-
How do you go about getting Carnival to price match? Can I do that ahead of the cruise?
-
We booked through a very well known but best price online travel agency and they charge $100 if you cancel at anytime, regardless the reason. That is a travel agent fee and not MSC. Didn't know this prior to booking.

Just want to make sure I understand this. For $99 you get 100 printed 8 X 10 photos of your trip? Less than $1 a photo? What if I want some smaller prints than 8 X 10, will they do that?

In one of the posts above it says that kids cards can be used for purchases. Is there a way to disable this? I don't want someone to find my kids card somewhere and have a good time on my dime.

My 8 year old son hated it. He was terrified the entire time. You can't see under the water and have no idea what you are stepping on. You could step on a rock, gravel or step in a hole.

We did Dunns River Falls and Bamboo Beach Club.
My adventurous 8 year old son hated Dunns. He was afraid the entire time and honestly as a parent it made me a nervous wreck. On top of that the guides hound you like crazy for a tip. When we finished I had a twenty and 3 ones and decided to give the guy 3 ones as I thought $20 was way too much for what he did. He was rude about the tip and wouldn't speak the rest of the time. He even followed people in our group back to the parking lot to the van if they did not tip him (probably 1/2 a mile away from the ending of the falls).
Bamboo Beach Club was amazing. It included food and drinks. The beach was like a post card.

I am on a ship now and we had planned on doing a beach day through the boat. However, the port we were stopping at today was cancelled so we want to do a better excursion in Falmouth.
The issue is the day in port is tomorrow. Has anyone had any experience booking things once on land in Falmouth? Were the prices about the same as through the cruise line? Trying to decide if I just wait until we get there to book something or if we should go ahead and pay more directly through the cruise line.

What is the best excursion that we could take an 8 year old on? I do not see a lot at this port.

Thanks everyone. I will just stick to cash.

I am wanting to use my bank card for my expense card during online check in and had a question on how that works. Will they do a blanket debit of say $500 or how does it work? I just want to make sure all my cash doesn't get stuck in pending status limbo.

Safe from crime, yes. Safe from driving, not so sure. The cab driver we had last time drove crazy, but it looked like most did.

I am taking a NCL cruise next year and have a question on boarding documents. How do they handle shorter version of names when matching drivers license with birth certificates for board? For example, my legal name is Bradley but my drivers license says Brad. Will I be denied boarding because both documents don't match the first name of Bradley?

Is there a limit on the number of cards you can buy? I have enough points to buy $2000 worth when they are available but my payment date is getting close and I might buy elsewhere if I can't buy that many at once.
