I filed a claim with AON infinity on 03 August - very straightforward, disembarked due to positive COVID test.  Submitted all the paperwork/proof and got the standard "Apologies for the wait time, we're processing a significant number of claims currently.  Waited 21 days and called, told it's "still taking a long time, they've received my paperwork and will contact me if they need anything else". Advised to wait 21 BUSINESS days.  Waited the requested time and still nothing.  Not even moved from "Assigned Examiner" to "In Progress". Called for a third time and asked for a supervisor who told me they were working as fast as possible and asked for ANOTHER 30 days!  Waited those 30 days and called for a fourth time today.  Still NO ACTION and I got the same script read to me as before: "I do apologize for the wait time, I see here we have received your paperwork and we are working as quickly as possible".  Asked for a supervisor again and she read me the same script, said it would be another 30 days and still couldn't tell me that I would have any results by then.  I'm pretty upset by now, it's been over 80 days with ZERO results or assistance.  Not happy that I have literally ZERO recourse and am at their mercy...needless to say, I will NEVER use them again and will be filing complaints with every agency and regulatory office I can.

  2. Thanks everyone  for all the information  you've  provided  and for sharing  your experiences with the Arrive Can program . I have been locked  out for the past week and finally  called Princess .  The Princess  Rep said no worries " We have techs on the pier  and on board the ship to get you into Arrive  Canada ." As an aside , she stated many people  are experiencing  problems  with this tracking system .

See you on board the Crown on next Saturday !

The simple fact is that they have known the entire season and still sell the original itinerary to this day. So people can quibble over minutiae about whatever parts she needs or whose fault it was. But the fact remains that people like myself, sailing Aug 20., are only hearing from Princess and our T. Agents 30 days prior. I found out yesterday. And nobody can say for sure until Princess makes an official decision, so.I don't fault my agent. So unless people are constantly in these forums or, like myself, decide to go on YouTube excited to learn about this cruise-- they are clueless until a month prior. Too late to cancel, although I myself wouldn't anyways. I even looked at reviews of my ship and at the time of purchase found nothing about this stuff. And most people won't delve so far as to read cruise hive or cruise radio daily. So YES there is a management problem in the form of delayed facts/communications. HOWEVER I am still SUPER excited and thankful to be cruising on her and have spent the last few weeks on pins and needles.

  4. Have great cruise. Getting ready to sit on the phone with Princess  to straighten  the mess they're  making with crediting  out future  booked cruises with credits  earned from Princess  canceled  cruises.

Booked on the Crown for an August Alaska cruise .

Boarding passes are issued about 90 days from Embarkation Day and will appear on your Navigtor app as well as the HAL website.  Nobody on this forum has been able to determine how they are assigned.  Be prepared for several changes of times before you cruise.

  6. Always travel with a pair of binoculars , one for me one for DW. On a recent cruise while relaxing on the balcony  I noticed the ship slowing down to a stop. I observed  that there was a 35 ft sailboat  of the port side. A tender was lowered and the sailboat was searched. No one was found abroad and we sailed on.My trusty binoculars  gave me a birds eye view of this mini drama
